Incredible.. I’m not typically a reader, the last time I read a book for my own enjoyment was over ten years ago when I was 14 reading the twilight series… lol. But I’ve seen this authors name so many times and I’m a sucker for a good love story so I tried out her books. I’ve only read two so far but each of them blew me away. The way Colleen Hoover pulls at emotional strings while also hitting you with a twist you didn’t expect and then also giving the best endings possible, is incredible. I cried when I read both books, this one and “Ugly Love”. I can’t stop reading now and look forward to more!

I love Colleen’s books. Another great read by Colleen! This books isn’t long and you truly can finish it quickly. I enjoyed the elements of mystery that she added in this one. There was something missing for me that I can’t pinpoint in this book, otherwise I’d probably give it a 5 star.

Kept me hooked. This book kept me hooked from the jump. I read it all on in sitting by accident! The ending was such a surprise that left me emotional.

Don’t waste your money. I must write this review because I’m a huge fan of Colleen’s. I respect her efforts but this book was very hard to get through. It’s boring and the story really could’ve been a short story. The ending was the best part. It took 10 days to finish because I wasn’t excited to read, like I normally am with her books.there’s a lot of repetition. A lot of wasted pages. Ready verity or November 9 instead!

Hook. There was not a single part in this book where it was doll. There was so much to unpack but it was presented in a such good format. This book will definitely make your sympathy levels go threw the roof

Love it. I love this book! This my third Colleen Hoover book and my favorite by far. I couldn’t put it down. Colleen has such a refreshing way of writing. I’ve read plenty of books that leave me dissatisfied but this one gripped me, I fell in love with Owen’s character. Thank you Ms. Hoover for delighting my soul.

Amazing left me wanting more. This story was written amazingly I loved the characters how everything played out the play out of the story was so good definitely one of my favorites

WOW. ALL THE EMOTIONS in the best way.. This book truly kept me turning the pages and wanting more the whole time. The way that the author teased how Owen knew Auburn at the beginning of the book makes you feel like it may be from a negative memory but the way he knew her was truly unmatched. It’s so easy to love Owen and the way he cares for others and will do anything for the ones he loves even if it impacts his life in the greatest ways. The guilt he holds from the car accident is clearly there but the way you watch him learn to accept it and continue to help his father is beautiful. Auburns drive and love for her son is the sweetest thing and really incredible how she’ll do absolutely anything for him. The end is truly a mic drop moment when you think Trey has won but she comes up with the master plan to get Owen out of jail and get custody of her son. This book is one of my favorites from CoHo!

Hard to get through.. I’d say I’m a fan of Colleen’s. I’ve read the majority of her books and have always enjoyed the journey each one takes you on. My biggest critique would be that the love scenes in almost all of her books are quite foolish, exaggerated and generally super unrealistic (I’m mainly referring to the dialogue between the characters in these scenes). Although I’m usually able to read through it, I simply couldn’t with this book. There’s a lot I skipped over because of how cringey the dialog is — especially between characters who have known each other for less than two days. This is the longest it’s taken me to get through one of her books because of how off-putting the interaction between the characters is. I’m only going to finish it because people have mentioned that they enjoyed the ending and now I’m too curious not to. I wouldn’t suggest this one to anyone — read her other books instead.

New favorite. Every time I finish one of Colleen’s books I think this one is my favorite and then I finish another one that becomes my new favorite. This was a beautiful book.

Insipid. I have read other books by this author and I thought they were well written. This one is filled with too much insipid romance and is so slow. I put it down on page 200 and could not finish it.

Amazing. I couldn’t put this book down. From the minute I picked it up I couldn’t set it down. I finished it in 2 days! Loved it.

The perfect short romance I needed. This book was an easy read, I finished in two days! I was in desperate need of a little love story pick me up and this book checked that box. Definitely worth the read, Colleen Hoover does not miss!

Wow.. Just wow

Best book I’ve ever read. I finished this book in less than a day and sobbed my heart out throughout the last 100 pages. It’s heart wrenching and beautiful. Amazing amazing book.

Slow, Slow, Slow Start, Amazing Ending. I love me some Colleen Hoover but man did this book have a slow start and a slow middle. It really stared picking up towards the end and I loved every second of it. Also, the ending was incredible and worth it, so if you are having a hard time getting through this book just keep going it’s worth it!
