Good "evil" scientist + hot human cyborg = power couple. I didn't know if I was going to love the new series. However this sceptic is totally into the new series that Donna has created. Kyra wants to right the wrongs and the only way to do that is to get Peyton 313 to help her. It pulls you in from the beginning and makes you want Kyra to win no matter what. The story is up there with her forced to serve series and will be another hit. Great book. Even if you are unsure read it you might be surprised like I was.

Fun Read. I liked the characters in this book and am looking forward to reading about the restoration of the rest of the team.

How Far is too far??. As a fan of both Donna McDonald and sci-fi, I was thrilled to see she was writing another series! I promptly starting reading the moment I got the book and was not let down. One of the things I love the most about Donna's books is that the leading lady is usually a very strong independent woman. Dr. Kyra is just that! She has a conscience and the gall to follow it! In this book, the idea of just how far should science goes is explored. I adore her conviction in making things right for Peyton. I fell in love with Peyton and his reactions to her! I look forward to reading the next book in the series!

This SciFi Romance rules!. This SciFi from 2400 seems so real. The tech speak so possible. Peyton is a true soldier yet a perfect man. Kyra is a scientist first, at least in the beginning. Peyton brings out the woman in her. The story is well written and so plausible. You root for the characters. You feel their pain. 5 Brit shiny stars!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. OMG I couldn't read fast enough and I speed read. This was just amazing. I love science fiction but some times the sci-fi books I find to read are just so dry. Not this one it was fresh & exciting. It has everything I love in a good book. This is just such a wonderful story

Disappointing. The storyline had potential but the follow-through was disappointing; the end of the intrigue was anti-climactic, and the minimal action was not exciting. If there’s a limit on words, authors should focus on ONE element (romance, emotion, intrigue, action, etc.) and do it well, instead of touching on several. The dozen typos were also distracting.

Payton. 13. It was a easy and enjoyable read. I’d look for more books from this author in future.
