Extraordinary story telling. My favorite so far. If anyone had told me that 18 (?) books into a series would be one of, if not the favorite book, of this great series, my answer would be as follows: 18 books in the same series? Are you serious? I would never even have read 4 or 5 in a series.... that's ridiculous. IT'S THAT GOOD. This book touched every nerve & emotion and stayed intriguing throughout. There are several more as I am reading in order. But I'm going to wait a just a little time before beginning the next. I want to truly savor this one.

Best series ever. I found this series through the free books series and started with Clearwater Journals. I have read a book a day, they are easy, fun reads. I love it!! Thanks Al for a little escape from life!

Clearwater Homesick. I've never written a book review before but these books by Al Rennie are special and I've enjoyed them so much that I've read them all twice. From the first free book that I happened to "stumble upon" I could not wait to start the second and the third and so on. I was reading a book a night and before I knew it I had read them all and so I started reading them all over again to keep the adventures of Joe, Mia, Max and the rest of the gang fresh in my mind. I may have to start reading them all over again if the next book is not out soon. I have laughed and cried with each new book and as each new character joins or leaves the family. I laughed when Joe fell in his grandfathers grave and when Jeremy thought it was Michelle and Dan who he over-heard playing "Pirates of the Caribbean". I almost woke up my husband when I cried over the loss of the triplets, the leaving of "Coop" and "Mrs. C", and the leaving of Joe's new found brother Jimmy. Now that Samantha has quit CHIPS, I hope she is featured many times in the upcoming books. I have recommended these books to many friends and family and can't wait to hear their comments and praise for the books, too. Please keep the books coming and I'll keep reading them over and over again. One of your loyal readers, Cindy

Clearwater Homesick. I have loved these books since I first picked up Clearwater Journal. I'm glad to see that the story continues in the subsequent novels not available to me in this outlet. (Such a shame.) If you picked up this book to start reading, please go back to the start. It is so well worth it! Clearwater Homesick continues to please as it takes its reader through the fun and ever exciting romp that is the life of Joe, Mia and company. (How does he come up with all these plots?) You can't help but love the humor. You get to feel a rush of adrenaline during the action... It's the whole enchilada for those of us who like this genre of literature.

Clearwater Homesick. What an excellent read for a warm summer day! This book has it all ..family adventures, challenging relationships,risky situations and many quirky characters all blended into a neat story! Being homesick was the inciting force but after reading this one ...you too are left waiting for more from this beach life in the Clearwater setting of Joe and Mia . Could not put this one down !
