It was fine.... Let me start off by saying that, no, I didn't finish this book. There were so many grammar errors that I ended up having the need to edit it rather than actually read for enjoyment! It completely ruined the book the for me. I would not recommend.

Not bad. It was fine...but there was just too much explanations... After reading 3 pages about people that don't really matter that much in the line of the story,you kind of get bored.

Steamy southern coming-of-age memoir. As a adult, Sarah reflects on her teen years as a the oldest daughter in a privileged southern family. Seen through the lens of her family’s ongoing involvement wiht the family next door, the “white trash” Soul clan, she reviews her persistent crush on Darren Soul, and her friendship with his younger brother Noah. The writing is great: evocative and sensuous descriptions of time and place and Sarah’s inner emotional landscape pull you in and let you live the bittersweet journey from innocence through sexual awakening and first love.

This is ok, wish it was more. As far as books go, this isn't bad, however, if this book was supposed to establish a series, it could have been better. If the series is about the Souls, I think this book should have at least given some descriptions of all the members of the Soul family. I would have liked to know something about Grayson other than just a mention in passing that he was the oldest. Also, this story is really Sarah's story about her crush. Since this story is told in the past, the offsides in the story inferring things in the future were off putting and I feel unnecessary. I found some sections of this book boring. Overall, I think this book is good not great and look forward to the next one.

Brothers. Wow!! I love all your books that I have read. This one is great! Can't wait to get the next one. The imagination and the characters and everything else that goes with it is just astronomical. The story is something you can actually visualize. Can't wait for the next thank you!

Boring. Not much happened - it was so mechanical and hardly had any content. The story is basically she crushed on him since she was a kiss then lost her virginity to him. The end. Didn't need the number of pages it took to get there. Wish I hadn't bothered reading it.
