4.5 Stars!. My #1 favorite thing in a book is when the guy chases the girl. Call me old fashioned but I want my Hero's so enamored with the heroine that the pursue them relentlessly. Nothing makes me happier! I also loved the mystery as the story unfolded. Holt knew more about Saige than what he was letting on and I wanted to know the secret he was keeping. The only thing that kept this book from being perfect for me was Saige's constant pushing Holt away, but then it also showed how much Holt was willing to do to make her his. I really enjoyed this.

But when that dare steers you toward your very hot boss, Holt Hamilton, is the risks worth it? Reservations, lies, deceit and haunting pasts are just the beginning. Can Saige let all these things go for love? Rebecca always writes a good story but with every one she gets better. Dare Me has easily become my favorite of hers and I will go out on a limb to say it will be a top read for 2016. The hero is not your typical brooding, dominant man and Saige definitely isn't your weak, questionable heroine. Both are rocked by a past they have used to push themselves into something bigger than them. One is pushed to make up for past mistakes and the other is pushed to live out a dream. Can they both get over the past to have a future? The wonderful bonus in this story is the amazing supporting characters. I always find myself drawn to these sometimes forgettable people but that's just not possible with Dare Me. They are there. They are in your face. And they are anything but forgettable. They help mold this story. You won't want to miss this one!

Review: Dare Me #1: Dare Me. Dare Me by Rebecca Shea is the first novel in her new Dare Me series. This is my first read of anything from this author although she has been one I have been meaning to read for a while. I'm glad I finally did and i'm glad it was this book. Saige and Holt's story was wonderful. It built slowly to this wonderful crescendo of the big secret reveal and the happily ever after. Told in dual POV we slowly learn more about each character in a very fluid telling of both sides of their stories. Saige is strong and Holt is determined but they both have their own demons to battle and when the truth finally reveals itself it's a heartbreaking moment for all involved (including the reader). Definitely want more from this author.

Wow!. Sexy, steamy, funny, and heartbreaking. This book had it all. Highly recommend. Another powerful read from Rebecca Shea.

I Dare You To Read. I loved this book!! Such a quick, sexy, fun read!!!! “I dare you. Those three f*cking words will get me every single time.” I loved Saige, she’s a strong female character. And Holt #HowHotIsHolt omg *swoon* I love him!!! Another Rebecca Shea novel that’s hard to put down!

I Devoured This One!. I freaking love Holt—he's handsome, compassionate, sexy and just delicious! Saige is fierce, intelligent, and determined. Together they're perfection! Their story is filled with twists that'll make you want to shake Rebecca (I so wanted to shake her repeatedly!!) and sexy moments that'll make you fan yourself! I swear I had a tear in my eye from pride at how her sexy-time writing has grown over the years! I've devoured each and every Rebecca Shea book since the beginning of her writing career, and she's never disappointed me. Her writing grows with every book and I cannot wait to see what else she has up her sleeve!

OH MY GOODNESS. BEST BOOK EVER! I'm so sad I read it so fast but I couldn't put it down! Rebecca Shea you have out done yourself! Holt now now at the very TOP of my "book boyfriends" list!! Your stories carry so many feels. Amazing job! #HowHotIsHolt

Loved it!!!. Ever have a book steal your breath, hold you captive, tear you down then piece you back together? I have, it doesn't happen very often but when it does it's a magical thing. Let me start off by saying that I had very high expectations for Dare Me. I'm an avid reader and have come to know and love Rebecca Shea's writing, she is extremely talented. I saw the teasers about the story evolving from a game of truth or dare but I left it at that. I refused to read any early reviews of ARCS because I wanted to go in blind. I love the way Saige's character was sweet yet snarky, vulnerable yet incredibly strong and resilient, beautifully broken. Rebecca creates really intriguing characters, it's one of the many things I enjoy about her books.... Enter Holt Hamilton Saige's boss. Sweet baby Jesus he is a walking, talking dream, successful and beyond sexy. Drinks with her coworkers who are a crazy bunch turns into a dare in which Saige is challenged to ask the boss out for drinks. She struts across the bar and asks Holt thinking he'll let her down but he accepts without hesitation. Holt is floored when Saige asks him for drinks, he knows he shouldn't accept, it could only lead to trouble but he is powerless to decline because from the moment he laid eyes on her he was hooked. She was nothing like he'd imagined. Without giving too much away, they both have complicated pasts- her's painfully tragic. Which makes it very hard for her to open up and let Holt in but he's a man that knows what he wants. He struggles to break down her walls and fights to keep their pasts at bay. When the truth comes out will they be able to overcome? I truly loved this book, no doubt it's one of my top reads.

Loved this book!. This was the first book I've read by this author and I couldn't put it down. This story was one of such heartbreak and such pain. Saige has suffered such tragic loss in her life and she has never been able to move on. Holt never expected to fall in love so deeply with Saige and he knows that if she finds out his secret that she will walk away from him. Holt is a character that I found myself loving to the bitter end. This is a man who has everything, but loves so completely. He is kind and completely vulnerable to Saige. I loved him. Saige can't let herself love Holt. In order to move on with her future, she has to bury the past. This was such a powerful story about letting go of the past in order to have a future. I was drawn into the story and the characters and absolutely loved it!

I loved this book!. 4.5 stars!!!! My eyes are leaking, and they've been doing that pretty steadily for the last 30 minutes or so of this book. I LOVED IT!!! I fell hard & fast for these characters. Holt is hot! He's strong and commanding, sexy and broody, but he's not the typical alpha as*hole we are so used to seeing in contemporary romances. He's refreshing and totally swoon-worthy! I also loved Saige. She has a ton of email all scars, and lots of baggage, but she doesn't come off as weak or whiney. She's still fierce and funny, despite her horrific past. I really enjoyed the supporting characters too. The best friend is often my favorite character in a book. In Dare Me, Saige has a group of friends who are all unique and diverse, and I loved them all! This book hooked me instantly, and kept me interested throughout. I didn't want to put it down! Another winner from Rebecca Shea!!

You can’t help but to fall in love with these two and root for them to get the happily ever after that they so greatly deserve. I absolutely loved this book! I was quickly pulled in by that heartbreaking prologue and I could not stop reading till the very end. Saige has a ton of baggage and emotional scars from her past, but she didn’t come across as weak to me. She was a strong female character despite her tragic past. Holt is sinfully hot! He’s sexy and commanding but not your typical alpha male we so often see in the contemporary romances. He was a breath of fresh air and absolutely swoon worthy. I can’t wait to see what else Rebecca Shea has in store for us next.

More Holt Please!. When you're play truth or dare with coworkers, you shouldn't mix alcohol right? Well sometimes it just gives you that little push to take the dare and follow thru. Liquid courage. And that is exactly what Saige needed in order to take her dare from her friends. A dare that would forever change her. Holt his Saige's hot boss and lord is he great! I know if I was in Saige's shoes I'd take that dare and run! The relationship with Holt and Saige is charismatic. They mesh so well together. But neither want to really relive their pasts. So their pull to each other is what draws you in from page one. I seriously didn't want to put this book down. This books has it all! Don't hesitate and one click this book!

I'm not that girl." It starts with a dare. Because, what self-respecting woman says no to a dare? The thing about a dare, though, is the consequences. And those can be far different than what's expected... I was intrigued by the idea of DARE ME by Rebecca Shea from the moment that the blurb was released. I love a little bit of mystery with my romance, and this book seemed like it would deliver in spades. And deliver, it does, in every possible way. Saige Phillips has had more than her share of drama and heartbreak in her life. Losing her father at a young age has left Saige afraid to open her heart again, fearful of the vulnerability of giving everything to another person, only to be crushed. When a night out with her friends results in a dare that she just can't refuse, Saige isn't about to get attached. But Holt Hamilton, her boss and the object of the dare, isn't so cavalier. "Holt, this is just drinks. That's all." But her eyes tell me she wants more. I lean closer to her. "It's never just drinks, Saige." Because Holt has had his eye on Saige, and he's in it for more than a casual hook-up. But Holt is keeping secrets, ones that he can never share with Saige, because finding them out would mean the end of anything between them. Holt Hamilton is not the average book heartthrob. Besides being sexy, intense, and driven, he's also a man of integrity, a man that wants to give Saige the love and the peace that has been missing from her life for so long. Yes, he's got secrets that he cannot reveal to Saige, but everything he does, he does out of a sense of responsibility for her welfare. I really enjoyed seeing him and Saige work out their relationship, watching each of them evolve in ways that they had not anticipated. I love, too, that Rebecca has written Saige as a self-sufficient, if sometimes vulnerable, heroine, recognizing her flaws and owning up to them. That she has dealt with so much at such a young age, and is still fighting to find her sense of self, her peace, is hopeful. DARE ME is full of spark and steam, coupled with deep emotion and resilience. I was hooked from the moment that I turned the first page, and sped through it like it was my favorite dessert. Rebecca has given us a book that is an easy 4.5 stars, and one that I will savor for a long time to come. Don't miss out on this one; take the dare, and bump it to the top of your TBR.

Get ready for Holt Hotness. I absolutely loved this book. Holt Hamilton will take your heart and run with it. This book was flirty, fun, sexy and emotional with twists and turns. It’s one of those “one more chapter” books that you can’t put down.

You need Holt!. I'm at a loss for how to write this review. Lets start with OMG YOU NEED THIS BOOK IN YOUR LIFE!!! I didn't know what to expect when I first began reading but I quickly found myself consumed by Holt Hamilton. Sexy, enigmatic, self-confident, take charge and get what you want man. It has been a bit since I have read about a man who has all of these qualities. He is sweet, attentive and always ready to fight for Saige. I mean **Swoon**. Saige Philips is a girl looking to achieve her dream and she has definitely found it in her dream job at Jackson-Hamilton Aviation. Hard working, smart and determined to get above her demons, Saige left the quiet and peaceful North Dakota, for the hustle and bustle of Chicago. Now enter her co-workers a night club and some drinks. Saige is dared to ask Holt Hamilton (her boss) to go out for drinks which to her surprise turns out to be so much more. Caught up in this whirlwind romance Saige is afraid things go too fast but can't deny the power and hold that Holt has over her. I loved every minute of the ride. There is a bit of everything in this book. Sadness, grief, happiness, weird guy, past demons, love, sexy times and of course all of that mixed with Holt and you pretty much don't need much else. I have followed Rebecca's writing since she first started and this woman's writing has manifested itself and leaves me in awe every single time. I love how her confidence has grown and the leaps she takes with each book. I don't know why she enjoys making people cry at about 1-2% of her books but she does. Time and again Rebecca has shown her skills and with this book it's no different. I could go on for hours why you need to get this book, but honestly I think you should read it because it's well written and Holt will melt your panties and heart. I mean he even has his own hashtag #HowHotIsHolt.

So so good!. OMG I seriously LOVED Dare Me! It was definitely one of my top favorite reads of 2016 so far! I found myself crying, swooning, and laughing! It was one of those books that I seriously could not put down! I mean #howhotisholt, love I loved that man. If you love super hot quick reads? Definitely pick this one up!!

#HowHotisHolt. Exceptionally After the heart wrenching prologue to this book, we are in Chicago and see how well Saige has done for herself professionally. Personal is another matter and who could blame her with the demons in her past. Refusing to live life and love anyone that could hurt her, one night out with colleagues and 3 little words has her world turn on its axis and hay she thought she wanted wasn't it at all. I Dare You Holt is hot as hell, sexy, smart and beautiful, but tinged with guilt from a secret that could rip his world apart at the seams. A beautifully written book about love and lies, lots of emotion and some hot love scenes. Rebecca has done an amazing job. 4 brilliant stars from me, I just wish we had a little more of Holts back story, a little more angst as I feel there's a lot more to this story, but we can't have it all. Thank you Rebecca for introducing me to Holt I just want more !
