The Magnolia Story. Read the book through in 1 day laughing out loud. As 1/2 of a renovating couple I totally related and could "feel" the stress or joy and the aches and pains. The book was more than renovations: it's spiritual, inspiring, showing the good with the bad. It gently pushes you off the couch away from the TV to motivate the reader to return to the fun challenging projects that got pushed into a closet last time company came to spend a weekend in the guest bedroom/craft room. Many thanks for a wonderful read, might have to road trip to the Waco Silo's.....

Best. Book. Ever.. I'm a big book reader and I will read anything. I usually don't like most books but I thought I would give this one a try bc Fixer Upper is my favorite tv show and I love the design industry. Reading this book and watching the episode "Fixer Upper Revealed" it really showed me how to own a space and make it your own. Great book that everyone should read. There's embarrassing Chip moments! (My fav parts) lol😂

Inspiring and Real!. This was such an easy, feel good read! I've watched Fixer Upper a handful of times and enjoyed it but wasn't a show that I just had to watch. After reading about Chip and Joanna and their start together, I can't wait to watch it again and see how I feel. It's refreshing to hear about their Christian life and the challenges they faced to get where they are, all the while keeping the faith and love for each other and, most importantly, putting their family first. Also, I can't wait to get started on the redecoration of my own home, with new found confidence!

Love love love. I am not a reader by any means but have kept up with “Fixer Upper” for a while now. Once i began reading this book i couldn’t put it down! From the humor to the messages and faith of these two I can’t help but think that much more of them! This is so great!!

The humble American dream. Loved everything about this book!

Magnolia the Magnificent. I couldn't put this book down. I've been a fan of this couple since I first watched their show. We need more families like the Gaines in our world. The world would be a much happier, healthier and certainly prettier place to live. Even though I'm a control freak, I would happily handover the reins to the Gaines to decorate or design my home. They are a classy family and that's why they are loved by all. Their book deserves to be on the New York bestsellers list as number one!

Loved hearing how Fixer Upper came to be, how they met, how they tackled life and its many twists and turns together. Truly an inspirational couple and an inspirational read! Didn't think it was possibly to like these two more but I was wrong! :-)

Fun Read!. The book read exactly like they talk. I loved the stories from their beginning homes to Chip getting on the "wrong side of the law". They obviously love each other and their family very much and it was inspirational to read about Jo's inner voice and so many things coming together to put them where they are today.

Amazing.. The book is incredible and I've never really liked a book before. From a non-book reader saying that a book was so good, people who love books, I know, will love it. The book is worth buying. Just it's such an amazing book. I 100% recommend buying it.

Loved every page!. I don’t know what I expecting but it was so much more. To be emotionally drawn in and captivated at the same time.

Inspiring. This book came to me at a good time. Sometimes we get so caught up in life and we forget how involved God is in your life and I this was a nice reminder. Plus, their story is inspiring. I want to live a life like theirs. Embracing the moment and trusting God. I was truly touched and inspired to live a life you love and helping others along the way.

Nice story, but even nicer message.. Felt at home while reading this book. It made me wonder how I could make my home feel like home. I got the main message from it, to realize ones self image on what style is and go with it. To make something to last a lifetime, not just for the moment. Very good book!

Honest and Uplifting. "Find that which you love and do it until it hurts." This a beautiful testimony of God's faithfulness in the lives of Chip and Joanna Gaines. Shows a God that is for us, that has a plan for each of us, and will be there to help us turn it into a reality if we're willing to listen.

Nothing of substance. I write this review as a fan of Chip and Joanna. This book is not worth the time to read it. If anyone actually paid $14 for this book I am so sorry for you. I enjoy both of these TV personalities and deeply hope their relationship is as strong as they portray on tv. This book is honestly a waste of time and effort. I'm am so glad I got it from the local library rather than purchasing it. If Chip and Joanna really wrote this nonsense I hope you get yourselves right before cheating anyone else. Shame.

Great couple and family in addition to being top notch entertainers on HGTV. Book was well written and also entertaining. I suspect their show and the Property Brothers are keeping HGTV a float. The Flip and Flop segments need to be revamped with new hosts

Inspiring, suspenseful and heartwarming. Great book. I don't think I've ever read a book so fast in my life!! This couple is so inspiring in everything that they do. I love how they have God in their lives and have shown their trust in Him through out their lives. God always provided for them when they needed it most. That inspires me to put more trust and hope in God that with a life with Him things will be ok.
