Cowboys Don’t Cry. Didn’t like as well as some of her other books.

Cowboys Don't Cry. This was a sweet story. Tanner has a lot of baggage from his past and doesn't think he'd be a good husband to anyone. Maggie is dropped into his life when she inherits the ranch that Tanner works on. I really enjoyed Maggie and her personality. She jumped right into ranching life and was determined to learn and participate in every aspect of the ranch. My heart ached for Tanner and how he had cut himself off from relationships. He did a pretty good job of punishing himself throughout the story. This was a very emotional story and Tanner and Maggie both changed and grew so much throughout the book.

Cowboys Don’t Cry. Tanner and Maggie’s story was sweet. Tanner had a lot of emotional baggage that only he could work out, but Maggie helped push him to face it. Nice ending.

A Cowboy Romance!. "Cowboys Don't Cry" by Anne McAllister is book one in the "Tanner Brothers" series. This is cowboy Robert Tanner and school teacher Maggie MacLeod's story. Robert doesn't do relationships or anything permanent. He is the foreman at the Three Bar C ranch. He promised the previous owner before she died that he would stay to help the new owner get acquainted with the ranch. Boy is Robert aka "Tanner" is surprised when he learns that city girl Maggie MacLeod had inherited the ranch and that she plans to run the ranch. It was great watching Robert and Maggie's relationship grow. The chemistry was great between them. I loved the characters, but at times I wanted to smack some sense into Robert. I really enjoyed this book and love Anne's style of writing. So kick back and escape into Robert and Maggie's life at Three Bar C ranch. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.

Cowboys dont cry. A cowboy who has hidden from his own emotions learns he can no longer live that life. As he falls in love he must come to terms with his past to understand where his future might be.

Cowboy’s Don’t Cry. Tanner's story is a tough one... his childhood was idyllic. Than fate has a way of shacking it up, even though he doesn't believe he did a good job raising his two brothers, the hit is there they are both very successful. Maggie inherits the ranch that Tanner is the foreman off, as he turned it down believe he wasn't good enough. Maggie positive and eagerness to learn scares Tanner more than anything. To watch Maggie's persistence and Tanner's stubbornness go head to head is interesting in itself. I enjoyed this story and am looking forward to more of the Tanner's Brother's series and especially curious if Andy (Maggie's) brother is in the future. Received an advanced readers copy for an hones and fair review.
