Mr Rook. Just WOW!

4 Mysterious Stars!. Hmm, how this book made me feel... I’m confused. Intrigued. Scandalized? Ok, maybe not scandalized. It would take more than this to be scandalized, but it’s not for the faint of heart. This was one big ball of mysterious possibilities and Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has me very curious to where she is headed with this series. You will need to check reality at the door because what part one is hinting at is pretty out there and yet, I’m hooked. I’m a fan of this authors writing so despite all the crazy things going on, I can’t wait to see what happens next. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Mr. Rook. I liked the book a lot. I would have liked a little more explanation though. There was a lot of dancing around the “mystery “. I intend to read the other two books. I hope there is a little more insight into what’s up with the island. I can guess, but clarification is good.

Audiobook Review. An island where ALL of your fantasies can come true! There is a catch. First you have to know how to get invited, then you have to have the money to pay for your trip and finally you have to decide on what your fantasy will be. Welcome to Mr. Rook’s Island. This is the first book in the series. It is well written and the storyline keeps you intrigued. The narrator Lisa Zimmerman did a fantastic job. You could feel the emotions of the characters. Great job on narrating. This is also the first book I have read/listened to by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I am definitely going to read/listen to more of her books (including this series). Overall a great audiobook. I received an ARC of the audiobook book in exchange for my true and honest opinion. Thank you OrangeSky Audio and NetGalley for this wonderful opportunity.

Gripping book. I have had the ebook on my TBR pile for a while, and the new audiobook was a perfect time to dive into this crazy world. The narrator did a fantastic job of differentiating all the voices, and there were quite a few. She also did an excellent job with Stephanie’s intense emotions. The story came to life with the narration, and I hope this means that the next two books will be audiobooks soon. I would love to hear more as Stephanie searches for the truth.

Don’t waste your time. Couldn’t get 1\4 of the way in the book. Hated this main character so much I just stopped. Not one of her better books!

Dangrous new Series! Love it!. This is the first part of what promises to be a darkly sexy, fantastically clever, emotionally jarring and completely addicting island adventure with a side of mind twisting mystery I can't seem to get enough of thanks to this brilliant story teller. Stephanie Fitzgerald is brilliant, sassy and fearlessly determined to find her sister or at the very least what happened to her on her island vacation. She goes undercover making a deal with the devil to get access to a top secret island getaway where her sister disappeared and nothing is what it seems to be. Boy oh boy does Mr. Rook deliver of every devious, decadent and sexy promise that is whispered about him. Waiting on the edge of my bed (where I read) for Pawn the next part of this adventure.

Mr. Rook. Curious. I can’t figure out what is going to happen. Can’t wait to read Pawn.

Amazing new series!!. Just finished reading Mr. Rook by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff! Lucky for me I got an advance copy to read and review. This book is amazing!! Without giving away too much, the main character puts herself into a deal with a very bad man in order to go to an exclusive island where her older sister disappeared. It's a fantasy island for women only!! What Stephanie finds on this island is way more than she bargains for. This is book one of a three book set and the cliffhanger at the end will leave you begging for book two! If you dream of hot men fulfilling your every fantasy in paradise, this is a must read!

OMG what an amazing introduction. Can honestly say this book dragged me into it. I loved the twisted and secrets and couldn’t put it down because I wanted to find out what was next and the story pulled in another direction I am gob smacked that you topped my fave book of your Mimi with this one it was Fugly can’t wait to read next book xxxxxxxxxxxxx
