Not Amused. Book is a joke

Commander in Cheat. Through the story of Trumps relationship with golf, the clouds part and it all makes sense. In two years of watching the train wreck that is our President, this book explains why he is what he is and will continue to be.

Funny but truly sad. I don’t know anything about golf, but I finally understand what makes our current president tick. I wholeheartedly recommend the book to anyone who supports Mr Trump.

Outstanding Book!. My husband and I love this book!!! The author writes so that it is very fun and easy to read. He provides many excellent quotes along with some good humor. Outstanding read!!!

Commander in Cheat. Golf reveals a lot about the people who play it. Donald Trump doesn’t just cheat at golf (not a crisis) but he cheats at life, he cheats people, he cheats business partners, and the common denominator is everyone he cheats is someone he can bully. The book is funny, insightful, and confirms what you know about Trump if you’ve watched the news in the last 20 years. He is a terrible person in general and the way he plays golf combined with his golf dealings put his worst characteristics on full display - as if to assume he has any good characteristics.

Pretty good book. Great insight on how Trumps golf game is a portal to understanding why he is who he is. Rules, honesty, compassion do not apply apply in golf for Trump. Winning and perception is all that counts no matter what the cost.

C’mon man, lighten up. Rick is personally affected by the Trump Presidency and used his immense talent to write a book that is petty and angry. I’ve enjoyed his writing and books for years. This one is pithy and as shallow as a Trump divot which would hold the integrity he utilized authoring this book. I want my money back Rick!

Could have been 4 chapters. Hoped for the humor and interesting back stories that usually accompany Mr Reilly’s work. Felt like it was beating a dead horse and found myself losing interest in the content-totally independent of the politics. Hoped for more of a fun golf read, ended it frustrated.

When nobody’s looking. My Dad was a scratch golfer (0) handicap. Fondest memories playing with him. Even when nobody was watching he was always honest and adhered to golf etiquette. He taught me it was a gentleman’s game. Miss you pop.

Wow!. This review is mainly for previous reviewers whom are politicizing the facts. Easy read. All facts. Advice: Be (and become) an educated human being and don’t behave like the prime subject in this book. Listen to your mother. Listen to your father. Listen to your golf coach. Listen to all positive people in your life.

All you need to know. Unless you’re one of the MAGAs, you will no doubt read this and know for certain Donald Trump is exactly what you knew all along. A lying, deceitful, narcissistic moron. I’ve read all of Reilly’s stuff and this one doesn’t take a back seat to any of the others. Well done Rick and thank you for this insightful, though not terribly surprising read.

Terrible book. This book is written by another desperate person who cannot get over the election of 2016.

Commander in Cheat.. Anyone who plays or played golf, this is the book you should read. Eye opener!

Charater Counts. This is a fun and fascinating read, but I do not recommend it to Trump supporters, it may very well create an existential threat to their view of reality. And to those who are NOT Trump supporters, your view will be vindicated! Thank you Rick Reilly.
