AMEZ2615 - In Love!❤️❤️
Silas is what you dream everyman should be, devoted, sweet and kind. It doesn’t hurt he is smokin both on an off the ice!
littlepinkpumpkin - Superfan
I absolutely loved this story. Solis deserved to find happiness in his life as well as Delilah. I can’t wait for the next book.
Lse587 - 3 re-reads ...so far!
Wow! Just Wow!
I really loved this book. I have to admit that I'm a sucker for strong men who aren't afraid to act on / verbalize their crushes .... and this one has that at a 10 out of 10!
The storyline is much more than the "don't hate me because I'm beautiful" plot that is typical romance. This has a well thought out plot with characters who are struggling to both overcome their own challenges and come together to have a life that is more than they could have thought.
Silas and Delilah meet when each is struggling with achieving their dreams. They flirt harmlessly, realizing that it could be something more ... but all that takes a back seat as each one focuses on their careers.
Later, each is successful in their own right, as Delilah faces challenges from a former beau and manager. Silas has never forgotten her and has become her biggest (and most silent) fan. That changes when she agrees to a date, set up by his friends. The date starts to turn into more, with Silas realizing that he needs to lay it on the line if he's going to move from being a fan to something more.
For me, the dialogue is sigh-worthy. Silas very openly courts Delilah and his soul-baring ways will renew your romantic spirit.
This is my second Sarina Bowen book, but it won't be my last. It immediately went on my "re-read" shelf and has become a favorite when I needed an escape with familiar characters.
Download this book! You won't be sorry.
I purchased this book and loved it so much that I felt it important to write a review! Big Sarina Bowen fan!!!
cullencutie2 - I’m a Silas Superfan!
I think that Sarina could write a text book for some boring subject and I would drop everything and eat it up. She has once again out done herself with Silas’ story and Superfan!
The Brooklyn Bruisers series continues with this latest installment; Superfan; featuring the Bruisers second string goalie Silas. And fans finally get an understanding into his infatuation with upcoming rock star Delilah Stark. Teased for his burgeoning love of the up and coming rockstar, Silas hasn’t shied away from his continuing support of her success. Little did the reader know that he knew her before she’d made a name for herself.
Sarina and her cast of characters, along with her well developed and relatable storytelling is what draws readers in; it’s what draws me in. I am vested in her story and the lives presented throughout. I want to know what happens next, so I continue to turn the page.
While Superfan can be read as a standalone, anyone wanting to dive into a wonderfully written sports romance won’t be sorry with starting this series from the start. Dive head first into the Brooklyn Bruisers organization, you won’t be sorry.
KindleKat64 - Entertaining & Charming
Let’s see, what do I like about this book? Well that’s easy, EVERYTHING! It had all the good stuff I have come to love and expect from a Sarina Bowen book. Superfan is such a sweet love story about these two amazing characters, Silas Kelly and Delilah Sparks, that is a few years in the making. It is at it’s core an adorable and romantic second chance love story that just happens to be about a hockey player and a pop/rock star. It is entertaining, fun, charming, witty, sexy and even a little suspenseful. There is a lot going on!
The chemistry between Silas and Delilah is off the charts!! I was rooting for them all the way!! Silas is such a sweetie! He is not one of those full of himself athletes that relishes in all the ladies throwing themselves at him. Nope, Silas is not like that at all and that is what made him so darn easy to love! He has had such a crush on Delilah Sparks for years and his teammates know it and tease him about it all the time! (I love the cameos with the teammates and their women in this book) Delilah is sweet and down to earth and not at all a diva pop star. She does have some trust issues due to something that happened to her in her past, but Silas is aware and tries to help her.
They both have successful careers going for them now, but that wasn’t the case when they first met. Now 3 years later, fate (or rather seeing Delilah on TV during a hockey game he was watching) allows Silas to reach out to her (in such a cute way I might add ❤️) and try and get another chance with her. And then it’s on!
I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed reading book!! I am so thankful to have received an early ARC!
4bu2 - Superfan

Silas stands her up cause he gets called up to play hockey and doesn’t have her phone number. Five years later Delilah is famous and shows up at a hockey game and the game begins. Two star crossed lovers try desperately to chase there dreams music and hockey can they mesh their dreams for happily ever after.
A page turning five star read you don’t want to miss!
Bookbruin - ✨ Sparkle On Forever ✨
Superfan was the blending of so many of my favorite tropes - second chance romance, sports, rock star, and even a touch of suspense thrown in for good measure. I couldn't wait to find out more about good guy Silas and what his story was with Delilah Spark. This is part of the Brooklyn Bruisers series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone. I do recommend reading the previous books, however, because they're awesome and also because characters from those books do appear throughout the series.
Silas was just as wonderful as I thought he would be and more. He was sweet and thoughtful, but also assertive when he needed/wanted to be. There was a gentleness and vulnerability to him that I found so endearing, but what I really loved was how well he listened and how patient he was. Yes, there were times he was unsure and nervous, but he was confident enough to give Delilah the control and independence she so desperately needed. I loved that he was all in from the very start and that devotion never wavered.
It took a bit for Delilah to grow on me, but I really felt like she had the biggest transformation in the book. She matured so much and went from a naive and somewhat helpless young woman to a more independent and confident one. I really enjoyed seeing her come into her own and take control of her life. She did make some questionable decisions, but I felt like by the end she was working to make better choices in the future.
Delilah and Silas were adorkably sweet, but also very sexy. I would have loved to have more history between them though to warrant the Delilah obsession by Silas. They certainly had chemistry, but I'm not the biggest fan of instalove and this seemed to go from zero to sixty in record time. I understand that their relationship was never going to follow a conventional timeline, but I still would have liked to see and feel them reconnect more after so many years apart. I'm also not entirely sure why Silas never reached out to Delilah in all that time, considering how they had left things. The drama with Brett and the suspenseful aspect of the story didn't entirely work for me and the resolution to it was a bit abrupt and almost too neatly tied together. I did love seeing all the Bruisers again though and that they played such a big role in setting things in motion. The nuptials that take place in the book had me squealing (I will NEVER tire of that couple!) and were such a treat! The epilogue left me with a huge smile on my face and it was the perfect way to bring Silas and Delilah's story full circle. A wonderful addition to the series!

Mellaz80 - Superfan
Superfan by Sarina Bowen 4.5* When you start a book and can’t stop the smile from forming within the first few pages, you know you’re onto a good thing. That was the case with me and Superfan and the smile did not abate throughout. Superfan is Silas’s book and if you’ve read previous books in this series, you’ll know he has a bit of an obsession with a certain singer named Delilah Sparks. Well in Superfan we find out how and why that obsession came about and it. is. swoonworthy! Delilah and Silas many several years ago when she was an unknown in town for a music festival and Silas was a bartender in said town who had missed out on his golden opportunity. They build a friendship of sorts but before anything more can become of it, Silas disappears. There is a bit of back and forth, then and now, in this book but it was far from confusing - in fact, the flashbacks only served to enhance their romance. This was a really lovely second-chance romance with some killer banter and a wee bit of suspense/drama thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed the organic way the relationship between Silas and Delilah grew and frankly, I could have kept on reading their story. I particularly loved the appearances from the Bruiser family and sincerely hope there’ll be more of them soon! *I voluntarily read an early copy of this book. **Reviewed by Melinda for Joandisalovebooks Blog.
Marina Skinner - Absolutely wonderful!
Ever read a book that makes you feel like you are watching a wonderful romance movie playout with characters that are just amazing and all you can do is swoon and sigh and wish real life didn’t exist???!!!
Thats so me as I was reading! This book could definitely be a movie! Boy meets girl, great banter ensues, girl doesn’t give boy her number, time drifts apart especially with their high profile jobs! Then when a tweet dinner invitation is posted needless to say the rest of the storyline is intriguing, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable, I just couldn’t put it down!!
Silas and Delilah are an absolute match made in relationship heaven but there are certainly some obstacles to overcome!
This book should be high up on your tbr list! An outstanding effort by the author who wrote a story so worth telling you will feel like the world around you has drifted away! Make it a priority to read this book!
Erin Lewis aka Maimeo's - So good
This was a fabulous read. Sarina Bowen had me from the first to the last page hook, line and sinker.
Silas and Delilah, are two halves of a whole; they are simply meant to be. Having met previously they are torn apart by circumstances but fate plays a hand and they finally have their second chance at a happily ever after.
Silas is now a professional hockey player and Delilah a recording artist. These two have a history full of miss understanding and yet they are both drawn to one another.
Can they overcome what life keeps throwing at them, or are they destined to remain apart?
I fell hard and fast for Silas, he is just so swoon worthy that you cannot help but fall for him. I loved how all in he was.
Not only was it romantic but there was also some suspense that had me intrigued. This was a well written, fast paced story with characters you cannot help but like and relate too.
Jaxwright57 - Loved it
Superfan is book 3 in the Brooklyn Series and this is Silas and Delilah’s story, it blends many troupes so if rock star, sports romance or second chance love are favourites of yours you will want to read this book. It may be part of the Brooklyn Series but like previous books it can certainly be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone although I’m sure you will want to get to know the seriously hot guys from the Bruisers as they find their soul mates. Silas is the goalie and he is Delilah Sparks biggest fan in fact he is obsessed with singer songwriter but he never though he would ever get to meet the superstar he crushes so badly on, what follows is fun flirty entertaining read with a hint of heartbreak and sadness as the couple who may be successful in their chosen careers but who are both lacking in love get to find friendship and love.
One of the things I love about this series is the opportunity we get to catch up with the team and it’s trades and retirements as well as the new guys just joining, it makes it feel so much more real because we all know this is part of being a hockey player. I love the Bruisers and for me Superfan is the best so far in this great series but I’m still so excited to see who’s next !!!!!
