Mystery and romance . . .. In equal measure. Even tho the mystery isn’t solved in this book, it didn’t leave me feeling resentful like cliffhangers. The romance I has its hea and the h/h are interesting and open with each other. A few spelling errors but not as many as too many other books.

Dark intentions. I really like this series. It has a lot of meaningful content. It’s not realistic to believe aristocrats married below themselves like this but that’s the romantic notion every poor young woman probably had and it makes for a good romance story. This series I would consider more of a mystery/suspense romance then a historic one. Keeps you interested and wondering. You get the HEA but not closure. Can’t say too much without it being a spoiler. 😉
Dark Intentions. Great read! LOVED everything about this book. New to me author, so I’ve got a lot of reading to catch up on. Yay me!!
