Lessons in French. The lighter side of Kinsale. Trev and Cassie have multiple layers to their characters and their relationship. Kinsales wit and fluid prose can be found here as well. Not a dark, intense love story as many might expect from Kinsale but still filled w aching emotion, particularly from Trev's perspective.
So disappointed.... I can't begin to explain how disappointed I am with this book. I remember when I first read "Seize the Fire" years ago as well as two or three of the others. Ahhh! Wonderful. But this! This was like watching paint dry! It sucked me in the first quarter because I just kept thinking, "It's got to get better". Nope. Didn't happen. I hope she had more fun writing this than I did reading it (couldn't finish it). It just kind of rambled on at times. It was witty for a few pages. It was funny for another three or four pages. Then long stretches of boredom. And it's long! So much for eBooks! I remember when I had a paperback like this I could throw it across the room! Thanks for letting me get that out.
