Review on A Dog's Journey. This is an amazing novel!! The moment I picked up the book I knew it was going to be great! This is a very emotional, memorable story that explains the importance of why dogs were placed on earth. Many people might think that they want to adopt a dog to save them, but in reality dogs are here to save us. My dog Riley has helped me through every battle that I have faced, and he is the one that keeps me going each day. This a truly wonderful inspiring book, and once you read it, it will change your life forever!

A Dog’s Purpose. Man, if you like dogs and the way they think; these books will do. I’m a fan of Watership Down series and the James Herriot series; these are in that league. I’m a dog walker with Rover, and I would be illiterate without these. So emotional and full of good reason, it was a fun read. I read both of them.

A wonderful sequel. Just like the first book, this will make you cry at times and laugh at the familiarity of looking at life from a dogs point of view. Great book...I wanted there to be more!

OMG I CANNOT WAIT!. I flipped over A Dog's Purpose! Simply can't wait for this one. I'm sure this book will be as stunning.

A dog’s journey. Reading this book as a 15 year old who never had much time with animals made me cry. *SPOILER* when it says “gold, the light was gold as it played across the gentle waves…*mot sure if this is correct* ‘Bailey!’ I turned my head and saw Ethan waving. Turned, whimpering with joy and swam towards those golden shores”. Made me cry realizing that you will meet up w/ ur pet in heaven. Recently got an Aussie puppy named bear. Had him for six months before my parents forced me to give him up. I hope I will someday meet up with him again

A Phenominal, Saddening read.. If you have any interest in dogs... This book is meant to be in your hands. You don't even need to own a dog, it's just the fact that the love you have for dogs is basically written in a book. The way bruce wrote Molly/Max/Buddy's perspective is creative, original and outstanding. I couldn't put this book down, and it brought me to tears and sadness as any other of Cameron's books. A must read, worth every penny.

Another box of Kleenex.... Yup, I gave this 5 stars before I read it....read "A Dog's Purpose" and loved it, sobbed through a lot of it. I will follow Buddy in his sequel.

Wonderful read, as good as #1. I absolutely loved this book. It's just as good as "A Dog's Purpose". As sweet and funny as it is at times, it also left me thinking for many days. I will miss the character. I wish my dog was this smart:)😃

The best book i have ever read!!!!. I am a real dog lover and you really need to be to truly grasp this book (as well as the first book " A Dog's Purpose ". He has really grasped the love between dogs and their humans. I would love to believe this is how life goes with your dog follwing you through your ups and downs and finding their way back to you no matter what. I was a weeping mess at the end of the book (i will not ruin the ending for anyone). But the end of this book is how i envision my life's tale. I will forever remember reading this book and the memory of each time i picked it up, inexplicably my dog would climb into my lap. I take this book especially to heart because i believe each dog is put into our life for a specific reason. My brittany Belle is a very special case and i have learned so much from her and will carry that knowledge with me for the rest of my life. Dogs truly make us better human beings. A HUGE thank you to the author for putting into words every true dog lovers story.

A Dog’s Journey. This was my first read of the series. I read this book in two days. It was great and it was easy to relate to it. I’m ready to see the movie now. I just bought a Dog’s Purpose and am ready to read it as well. I hope it’s just as good as this one. This book made me laugh and cry. Mostly cry. I definitely would recommend this book to anyone. It made me go home and hold onto my dog for at least two hours straight.

Wonderful! Couldn't put it down. This is the book I've been waiting for. A little darker story line but brings the tale full circle perfectly! I laughed and cried and was completely satisfied when I read the last page. Additionally, my non-reading son has been anxiously waiting for this. Finally a series he will read!

Best book I've Ever Read!!!!!!!!!. I cried when I finished this book, because I was upset that it was over. Bruce did an amazing job of writing this! I absolutely loved this book! Anyone thinking about reading it, READ IT! If you have ever loved a dog, this book is perfect for you. I kept thinking about my puppy when I read this. Truly incredible! Five stars and no question about it!!!

An emotional journey. I have been deeply moved by Bruce Cameron's two inspiring novels narrated by dogs. A Dog's Journey continues where A Dog's Purpose left off and both stories give you a lot to think about. In addition to raising consciousness about what dog's experience, particularly the hellish experience of shelters, Cameron tackles tough topics like eating disorders, depression, dysfunctional families and teen dating violence, as well as death and dying. Like book one, I could not put this newest novel down, turning the pages to see where the journey would lead. Thank you Mr. Cameron for sharing the wisdom, love, passion and loyalty of Toby/Ellie/Buddy/Mollie/Max.

This is a very cool book,. I have only yet read the sample, but I know this is a great book, when I first met W. Bruce Cameron, I felt just as exited as buddy/molly/max/Bailey/Toby/lily/Ellie/etc. so I know this is a great book for dog lovers.

Doug's Purpose I read, gonna read this one.. If you want a great book, read this. It is the best book I have read so far.

I Cried Like a Baby. Much like the first book, A Dogs Purpose, this book continues the story of a dogs journey to find its ultimate purpose. I read this book while on a 5 hour plane ride and I cried so hard I was gasping for breath. I recalled all the amazing dogs in my life and thought of their purpose to me at the time they shared my life.

Love it. I loved both a dogs purpose and a dogs journey I have a puppy named snickers who I love and he reminds of the dog in both of the books this is 1 of the best book ever

A Wonderful Dog's View of the World. Although one wearied a bit about the repetitive aspects of some portions of the story, the tale is well told, and the relationship between dog and man is emblematically faithful. I love how the dog experiences the world, and while this is a very simplistic premise, it is well written and engaging, especially if you are loved by a cat or dog. Lots of caricatures, but the facets are well drawn. I loved it.

Air Force Master Sergeant. I loved reading a dogs purpose, and followed that up with a dogs journey, and was extremely impressed by how well written and absorbing of your attention the books were. The books made me smile, cry, and laugh as I read the stories of the dogs life with its owners. Frankly, I couldn't get enough of the reading, and only wished that there was a sequel to the sequel. I'm stationed overseas and found the reading very entertaining and helped me lose myself in the magic of those books, and helped me pass many long hours in an enjoyable, and appreciable fashion. I would have to admit, I can't recall being so emotionally tied to reading a book. I laughed like I had never laughed before and then cried and was clocked up in a way I had never been before when reading a book. Excellent entertainment value, and I have recommended the books to others, like my sister who is watching my two Black Labrador Retrievers, along with her dog until I return home this summer. Thank you for helping me feel good about my time away from home, by reading your two outstanding novels. I only wish there was another book by you on the same subject of dogs.

Amazing read!. I for once mean it when I say that this is one of the best books i've ever read. It was put together beautifully and truly made you fall in love with the characters. I loved every single version of him(or her) that we met, and all of his different personalities in his different lives. The end was spectacular and I have to say i was curious as to how the author planned to end the amazing series and he did not disappoint. I was never bored reading this and it made me laugh and cry. Truly amazing book.

Fantastic read!. It just amazes me how this author makes a dog's voice come across so loud and clear as if this certain dog is actually saying it in your mind. If you have ever had an animal in your life and wondered what it would sound like could you actually give a voice to that life? I loved this story and I am glad and happy that it turned out the way it did. I liked it so much that I bought one of his earlier works about a grizzly bear and I am now reading that on my IPad. Thanks for the wonderful life's lessons in this book!

Didn't live up to A Dog's Purpose. I loved the first book! Really loved it so looked for more by this author. Read Emory's Gift next & at first was mesmerized by it & then it just got to be a bit too magical for me. I am a real dog lover & I do believe there is a very special connection between us & our dogs. When one of my goldens died very suddenly recently at a young age I sought out a comfort book & chose this one. I found that by now I was tired of reading a book written from the dogs perspective, the silly descriptions of every day things, the predictability of the story line. It did provide some comfort which is what I was looking for but it won't be one that I will be recommending to friends.
