The Vow. What an inspirational story, testament of what true love is really about...Christ centered. I saw the movie before I read the book. After reading the true story, I was shocked by what the movie did with this incredible story. God was never mentioned, different jobs, different beginnings, different relationships. This is a story that didn't need to be changed. I wish so badly that the true story had been told and that the emphasis had been on Kim and Kricket's faith in God to lead them in his path. Think of the people who may have gotten the message of Christ who had never seen it before. I will continue to strive to make my life Christ centered. God Bless the Carpenter family!!

Amazing!. In the beginning I thought the book was going to be just like the movie. As I was reading I realized that it wasn't like the movie at all. I kept reading on though & I came to absolutely love it. The story line is amazing & it has made me feel really good about love & for God. I wish Kim & Krickett the best & for anyone thinking about buying this book definitely should!

Reading your story has helped me to look at my life differently and know that yes, I may get frustrated and upset and think things are rough, but am reminded that things could be much worse. Thank you for reminding us that God is the one and only who deserves all our praises. God is the center to our well being and the rock to any relationship and foundation. Thank you for putting that bible verse at the end of your book. That verse is the verse that has been a reminder to me that all things are accomplished with Gods help. Thank you for living your life as a light shone for God and all his glory. May God continue to bless you and your family and bless many, many more people.

Faithful God. Book is a good read of God's faithfulness and the commitment of two people. Digital print has some areas where there are multiple copies of same pages in a row. So you have to flip pages. But the book and story is awesome.

very disappointing. This book had so much potential!! The author gives away the rest of the story halfway through, and there is nothing left for you to wonder about. I quit reading halfway through because the author told you how it ends. Wonderful idea for a story and I was very happy with the outcome, but it was not written well.

Terrible. I was expecting a great love story, and all I got was Christianity shoved down my throat. Yes, their story is inspiring, but enough with the holy, holy crap already!

Now that is a love story!. When people today think of love they get lost in the cultural idea of romance or perhaps lust. How inspiring to read about a husband and wife who throughout almost unimaginable hardship remember where their help comes from and make the choice that their "vow" is a lifetime commitment with a no return policy.

A MUST READ!!! 👍👍. This book is awesome. I felt the love and the pain this family has gone thru. I read at least 6 books monthly for the past 10 years or so and this is the first book that has made me cry. Is such an incredible story of love and faith that all I can say is that is a must read!

Inspiration. I believe that this is truly an inspirational story. For the fact that they have been through tougher times I think anyone could ever go through and still love each other, for that is true love. I hope one day I can find someone that loves me that much and will be there for me no matter what through thick and thin. I want to recommend this book to someone who wants a good cry and who wants to smile at times and at the end of the book say "I want a marriage like theirs"

awsome book of u dont mind the christian religion. this is a very emotional and heart warming book. of u do not belive in god or the chritsam religion and have sonething against it u should be warned that that is what the book is mostly about how god brought the two of them back to each other to love each other again and to have a second chance and to keepbtheir vows.

Okay,,,. The story was drawn out and very much not what I expected. I do not feel like Christianity is pushed in the readers face, the author writes as part of a story not as part as a sermon. However, the iBook was messed up really bad for me so be weary of buying on iTunes! I don't think I will be watching the movie since I barely stayed awake for the book. Otherwise, I am really happy this couple is doing well and has choose to stick it out rather than becoming another divorce stat.

Love story. What a beautiful Christian love story! There aren't too many love stories like this. Saw the movie first and then read the real story...by far the story is better than the movie!

Missing Chapter. I just downloaded so I can't say whether or not I liked the book, but I am missing the first chapter. Does anyone know what to do about this? It says in a red box that there were errors.

The Vow. I wanted to read this before seeing the movie. what an amazing story of faith and love! So often when things get tough, it's so easy to walk away, from now on, I will rethink taking the easy way out. A great book, so glad I read it, and I totally recommend reading it!!

Good book not enough to keep me hanging. I thought there were a few lack of details. I was built I up so much I kept waiting for the story of the first kiss HOW she fell in love again etc etc. by the time I was done I felt like she still hated him even after the kids and all. Felt inspired by the story though. Can't wait to see the movie.

The Vow. If more couples would take their vows as seriously as this couple did, then this world would be a better place for all. As someone who has made it 50 years with my spouse, I can say without a doubt that it is well worth all the ups and downs when you finally realize you have your best friend as your mate.

Marvelous. I was glued to this book from begging to end it even has pictures in the middle of the book to see how they look if a 13 year old could love then so can many others:)

The true meaning of a vow. Shows how God is with us during all times in our lives, if we just search for Him. This is how all wedding vows should be looked at. Wonderful book!

The Vow. This story is so inspiring, our daughters became intrigued as my husband read the book. We identified ourselves with this in the many similarities between the couple and even got married the same year. The difference was the tragedy they endured and only hope we will have the strength to overcome something as impacting and life changing as that. It's the ultimate test of Love. The world & society has given marriage a very easy way out on the first sign of trouble. However when we say our vows, we make a promise before God and only He should be the guide to follow. Marriage is a Triangle with husband & wife in the bottom and God at the top. If each partner looks to God, they will always come together.

The vow. Not really worth the ten dollars...The story was great and inspiring however, the numerous blank pages at the End of Each chapter were really annoying! I will watch the movie to see it is any better!

The Vow. It was truly an inspiring book to read, but there was a serious problem at least 4 or 5 times pages were repeated ( 5 or 6 pages each). it was very annoying. Especially for a book I paid for If the book had not been screwed up I would have given it a 5 star definitely.

Great!. The actual story is phenomenal but there are many parts in the book that repeat pages. There are atleast 7 pages of the same text in a row for some reason. Other than that it's great(the movie and the book)

The Vow. Very frustrated with this book. I haven't finished it yet but the pages keep repeating 3 or 4 times. What a waste of money. Should get a refund from Apple Store! It's a great story! Hope the Apple Store does not have a lot of books like this it will cause me to not buy anymore.
