The Bastard. Very good book!
The Bastard. Super easy to read with characters that are believable to the era and very identifiable. These books were my go to on the family bookshelf when I was young man.
The Kent Family Chronicles. I just finished reading this series for the third time in my life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and at times couldn't put it down. This time with the power of the Internet and Wikipedia I could look up some of the old terminology John Jakes uses in his books. Words to describe the food, clothing, etc of those times. I also felt as if I got a refresher course in American history which I also enjoyed. Great novels! Will read them again in another few years!!
