Wow!. So, I heard a lot of KC's fans were upset about the m/m storyline. I am a HUGE fan, and even though it's not my "go to" preference, I wanted to read because KC wrote it. It did NOT disappoint!! In true KC fashion, it was sexy, snarky and I didn't want it to end. The only issue I had was the end. It is kind of a cliffhanger. Of course I want to know what happens next!

Not my cup of tea. Read the first chapters but unfortunately could not get into the gay love story. But I am sure it is as good as the others

HOLY COW YES!!. This was so freaking HOT!! My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough!! Gimmie BL(boy love) all day erryday just give me a longer book! Those scenes were smoking!!!

My only problem with this book is it has a cliffhanger.. I wasn't sure I was ready for the male/male love story, but it was not objectionable to me. Kind of hot in some spots and sweet in others. I read Wicked Abyss first and frankly you can skip this book if the m/m thing doesn't do it for you. There are no clues you'll be missing for the whole ascension apocalypse. I always love K.C.'s books some more than others. Usually I rate them at 5 stars. Also, This is the only author I will pay $13.00 for an ebook for. No exceptions. My only problem with this book is that it's not finished. Thus the three stars. Cas and Merceo fall In love, resolve all there personal problems and just as there off to save Kosmina.......the book ends. I feel really disappointed. I don't love cliff hangers, obviously. I feel like this is something lesser authors do to ring more money out of people who sometimes can't afford the prices that publishers want to charge. Or whatever the reasons may be. I will gladly wait as long as it takes for an IAD book to get written. Why, would you make us wait with a story only half finished? I was just starting to like these guys. Ugh.

Too much of deviation from author genera. I preordered this book without seeing a preview. I find the constant description of male on male sexual behavior is beyond the pale. Author waited 20 yr to write this book, I could wait 20 yrs to read it. If you find gay sex interesting this is for you. I'll hit delete key and wait for the next. book.

Not reading this. I guess you wouldn’t really call this a review since I’m not actually going to read this. I’m not against M/M relationships, but I think they should have their own genre. 16 books into this series and I’m really invested in the romances and storylines and as a straight female reading male on male action doesn’t exactly keep me interested in a book. I guess that may be why the price of this book is $2 less than the rest.

Read only for the intro of a new couple, but…. I’ve been a huge KC fan for YEARS! I’m happy with the inclusion of the lgbtq+ community, I just wish it was longer and add more to the accession plot.

Roxy 11. I resisted buying this book thinking two gay guys not interested. But this was by KC so... And what a surprise. Poor Caspion wanting a female mate but getting a male one instead. He rejected the idea for five centuries. You could feel the attraction between the two. Only wished they had more interaction with the other Dacians.

You GO Glen Cocoa!!!. Wasn't expecting a book like this; I'm straight as an arrow but it was still pretty hot. Sad it wasn't longer and more sad she hasn't done Munro's story yet. But I can respect this novel for being completely NORMAL relationship wise, plus the plot was pretty dope.

Good. I enjoyed it a lot. I love Mirceo’s personality and line. I feel like it ended abruptly, there’s not closure, it went from them talking and getting reacquainted to “here’s the next book” and an 8 chapter preview of another story completely. I feel cheated out as I don’t have a closure to this story. The story was good, the characters were great and it was very well written. My sister introduced me to hear books because I bought one for her years ago and she enjoyed it and has bought all of them since. She told me about the slash one and I decided to give it a try and enjoyed it a lot.

Ugh no. I'm glad I pre read the sample. Not into this at all. Shame too bec this is my absolute favorite series. I was wondering why it was only $5. I am Happy I didn't waste my money on this. No, just no.

That's it?. I loved, loved the story, the writing is always perfect. The ending... Maddening!

SO GOOD…But the ending?!. Though I’ve read the entire Immortals series and loved them all, this is my first review. The book was FANTASTIC (hush to all the haters who got angry because they didn’t read the preview that mentioned it was a male/male romance, and huge kudos to Ms. Cole for being brave to tackle a romance that wouldn’t be universally accepted or understood). My only issue is that, unlike every other book in the series, it felt like the ending wasn’t resolved, yet the next book has nothing to do with this story line! Was that it for Mirceo and Cas?! Do we not get to journey with them on their last (and incredibly important) hunt? After 15 books with endings that felt well rounded, I expected more from this beautiful new novel. I suppose it’s a good thing that I was left wanting more, because the story was just that good!

Not worth the $5. Title says it all, this book is not worth $5, mostly due to the ending. It didn't feel like an ending, it felt like we were still in the middle. I turned the page and log and behold, a sneak peek from her next book! Come on Kresley, you are way better than this.

Conflicted. Have always liked the books by this author. This one is a conundrum. I have never read man on man romance before. I was open to the experience, but not sure what to expect. I think I need to get used to the nuances. I cared about the characters, but this book didn't invoke a lot of emotion in me. Glad for the exposure and will keep an open mind. Would girl on girl have the same response? Not sure. Part of me resented the need to analyze my response and just wanted a familiar story to read. But times, they are changing and always good to be exposed to new things.

So disappointed. Giving this a 1 star because it has Kresley Coles name on front of book. I always pre order her books without reading what they are about because I enjoy her books so much. Wish I had with this one. Even the low price was too much to pay. Stick with what you do best.

Good read. Enjoyed the book, sad there wasn’t more though.

Heart eyes emoji. L.O.V.E.D this book but I can't help feeling a little cheated by how short it was. I feel like we were just getting into the thick of their story and character development when it ended. But I have faith that we'll see more of them in future books x

Shadows Seduction. I was a little wary reading this book as its the first MM romance book I've read but I needn't have worried.I love Kresley Cole as I get wrapped up in the storyline in the first chapter.I have all her books on pre order. Ms Cole is one of my favourite authors up there with J DRobb,Christine Feehan,Lora Leigh,Felicity Heaton.Cant wait for the next IAD release.Highly recommended author.

Fantastic.. Loved this book so very much I didn't want it to end. I've been a fan of this series since it first started and was very happy to read a m/m book. I love all the characters in the whole series and Sebastian is still my favourite but Caspion just took second spot. Can't wait to read more in the series, I hope it never ends.

Another great love story!!!. I absolutely adore Kresley's books, I await with baited breath for more IAD adventures. The Shadows Seduction was a fantastic read, sexy, dangerous and laced with humour. My only gripe with this story is I found it ended very abruptly, do Cal & Mirceo get their desired family in the end? Do they get Kosmina back? Otherwise I loved it :-D
