Thrilling!!. Loved this book, actually the series so far. Could not put it down. It hits all the feelings. I wished they made this book series I to a movie or series. It’s just a great thriller, romantic, funny, sad, adventurous, even suspenseful.

Great book. I haven’t had a book make me cry in a while but they got me at the end. I loved it🫶🏽🥹

Love & War. I think this is more like a 4.75 in my opinion. I love the whole series but sometimes in this book the writing seemed off. Buuuut I felt it had plenty of action ⚔️ and some spice 🌶️ and just great development of all characters. The war was brutal and had plenty of twists I wasn’t expecting. 🖤

SPOILERS. Book was great! I thought some of the scenes during the final battle needed more scale (especially Amren’s unleashing). I also think Maas needs to stop being afraid to kill off characters, I don’t understand why she brought Amren back? Especially when throughout the entire series Amren has been trying to find a way back home. Finale lacked impact because no one truly died.

Love. A little slower in the first half on the book compared to the two previous, but soooooooo good!

Awe. Lost for words. I don’t even have the words to truely explain how this book has left me. Read it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🥲🥹

Never ending. I loved the first two books of this series, but I found an overwhelming majority of this one to be never ending streams of consciousness / thorough depictions we as readers did not need. The progression of the story line felt like watching paint dry. Also — there’s like 200 minor characters the author just expects you to remember at a moments notice. It even felt like Maas gave up towards the end, loosing me as a reader saying things along the lines of “it wasn’t but at the same time it was”…not a direct quote but you catch my drift. Some chapters I found so infuriating I had to find spark notes online (which I ultimately found more satisfying to read… shout out to bad books good times online). I committed to finishing the book, and I’m glad I did, but man oh man that time a lot of dedication.

Absolutely beautiful!!. Many have told me that the second book is the best in the series. I have to disagree and say that this book has my heart! Love stories and very difficult interactions between all characters. I couldn’t put the book down because it only got better and more interesting with every page!

Access. I paid for the book and I don't know why I don't have access to the whole thing, it stopped after chapter 5 and wouldn't let me continue

Unhappy. The only reason I give a 1 star is because I have purchased all of these books before and instead of saving them and just allowing me to redownload them. I’m now having to buy the books all over again? They are worth reading over and over again but only after I’ve already bought them. I don’t know if it’s worth buying the whole set again when I should have them in my Library ready to read.

Wish I would have stopped at the second book.. It just didn’t do it for me, I was in love with the first and second book, and should have just stopped it there. Felt it was just endless problem after problem with lots of random conversations that really didn’t need to be there.

Indescribable.. The amount of emotion ripped out of me by the last half of this book.. SJM is a marvel.

War is coming.. This book has a lot of war talk which is different than the first two but it’s so wonderful. I can’t wait to read all of her series.

Won’t let me get past chapter 5. This 1 star isn’t about the content! The book won’t let me read chapter 5, so I just paid $15 for a book I can’t even read.

I really liked it... I enjoyed reading this book but I feel like some bits didn’t make sense // kinda seemed random. Chapters 70-82 were so crazy I cannot explain to you how ~ S H O O K ~ I was. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series!

shaking and sobbing. the end of this book had me curled up in my bed crying but then it got better and now i’m scared to start the fourth one.

When I re-read ACOMAF and I have to do this one next. It’s such a wonderful companion and addition to the series.
