Sometimes you need a punch in the gut!. I am not giving 100%. That's what this book taught me. I achieved a little success but I am nowhere near my true potential. Great, Compelling, Life Changing. This book is not just a story about redemption and perseverance, but it exemplifies the “never give up “ attitude that we must possess in order to accomplish goals in life. Eric Thomas embodies what a black man can become if he has God as the foundation, family and friends as the substance, and a servants mentality designated to improving the lives of others. Thank you for inspiring me to do more.

E.T.. Off the charts motivation. This book demonstrates what it means to want to succeed. I need to want something as much as I want to breathe not only puts it into familiar perspective, but grants a comparison that not many people would normally grasp.

Pushing towards Greatness. If you're not motivated to push through everything you're going through after reading this book; then someone may need to check your pulse. This is a great read.

Title Change: God's Plan.. A book more about Eric Thomas himself, rather than the "secret to success." Even near the end he wrote "there is no secret formula to success." Overall though, if you want to become a good teacher / role model, well this is the book for you.

Good but... Don't get me wrong. This was definitely a good read. It felt as if Eric Thomas himself took my hand and walked me from the moment he left his house to the moment he was about to be a Dr. I enjoyed the life experience he shared and the guidance he is trying to convey in a well shaped message. I bought this book seeking the same powerful exuberant motivation he conveyed in his videos, but this book showed me a different path of what success was. It was nice to see the other side and have definitely learned a lot. In the end just have faith to succeed and destiny will do everything in its power to make it happen.

Must read. Found Eric Thomas a few days ago on YouTube looking for motivational speeches and since then, I have been hooked.

Very Powerful. I've had this book for years. It wasn't a coincidence that I am just now finishing it. It came at a perfect time when I needed guidance. The book is more than just about his life. It has tips on how to approach situations which I really appreciated. It's a good book to have in your library and refer back to from time to time.

Powerful!!!. ET delivers in this book! His powerful delivery and heart felt stories throughout kept me reading. I don't think I have read a book so fast. His message and his story are worth hearing, and this book is just the boost many people need today. After reading this, I see why his TGIM series is so powerful, because there is real life meaning behind all the things he talks about. I am grateful that I read this book and have had the opportunity to benefit from its teachings.

Highlight and Print!!. Great book!! Gives key points on what factors can bring you down in life, and how you can raise yourself up. Eric Thomas went through it all, and God still had his hands over his paths, whether good or bad. Now I will be printing all the notes I took, and posting them all over the house.

Incredibly motivating. I failed my first year of college (UK) with U's. I was kicked out of that college and so I went and found myself a college which was by far no where near as good as the first one. But by the help of Eric's YouTube videos, I got BBC in my repeat year. In my final year, I read this book. It inspired me and I was able to study to the point I was predicted A's. I may have begged for those A predictions. But I managed to apply to a top 20 university (Kent). I went on to match those A predictions and now I'm sat here, so happy that I was able to find Eric and watch his videos, read his books etc. It's only a short book, but so powerful - definitely worth the read!

Life changing. I'm not much of a reader but this book kept me interested all way to the last page. If you serious about becoming the best you can be then this book is for you.

Yes. I'm 17 years old and on my own. I more bought the book to support eric, but I did tale it seriously. The book seemed to me more like an autobiography than a guide. Although I was able to relate to it, i read each chapter and tried to use the things eric learned in his life to help me learn in mine. Even if I didn't go through the same things it helped me see things I never did. It was easy to read, effective, and warming.
