Loved it. I really loved this book :) one of my favs!!

amazing!!!. This book was beeter than i expected. Im not a big time reader but latly ive been wanting to and I’m very happy to of found this book. I finshed in two day, between worrk and collage i fell in love with it.

Free From the Tracks. Wow, what a revelation to someone who grew up in a safe middle class environment. A powerful story, the start of a series that I plan to read to its completion. This is a well written book as are all of K.T. Bowes’ books. I recommend this series to all readers.

🤍. I couldn't stop reading. I started this book two days ago, and read through more than half of it within a day. The storyline - perfect. The suspense? AMAZING. I will be reading books 2 and 3. 🤍

Whirlwind. Honestly, surprised at how this books kept me turning every page. Though it started off a bit rough, I enjoyed the overall message of the book and the budding romance between two very different people, I would say this book was full of surprises, hardships, and a chance to see the world from a different perspective.

Frustrating but well written. As much as I liked this book, it was frustrating and heartbreaking that so much of the chaos and trouble all of these characters felt could have been solved by having an honest conversation with one another. Frustration aside, this was well written and I continued to power through in hopes of a happy ending for everyone. The happy ending didn’t quite come but the ending certainly leaves me curious to know what comes of these characters.

Free From the Tracks. Graphic tale of bullying. It really hit home. But it doesn’t just go on in the poorer areas. Some of the richer kids I’ve known were worse.

Good read.. The book was enjoyable and an easy, light read. It does leave you curious as to what happens I. The next installment.

Desperation. This is an extraordinarily well written book. However, it paints a very unflattering, but accurate, picture of the lower socioeconomic parts of New Zealand (I grew up there). All countries have them; they can be very “real”, as in this story, with desperation feeling inescapable and dominating the lives of many who live there. While I recognise the excellence of this book, and rate it highly, I felt quite flat when reading it. There are small glimmers of hope but…
