The Waiting. This book was recommended to me by my friend Dawn, a friend I see in Oshkosh, Wi. I loved this book. I have recommended it to several of my friends and family. Everyone should read it!

Be prepared to shed some tears. What a wonderful story that needed to be told. Being a mother, this story really hit home. I have never cried so much reading a book. So many emotions, thoughts, actions. Unbelievable strength and undying love. A definitely must-read.

Different story but same feelings. I myself had a baby when i was 15.. I was so young. Filled wd curiosity and anger wd my mother and my step father. I only knew my biological father when i was a toddler. I wont say why im in rage wd my stepfather but its something that happen wd minka wd mack that happen to me and my stepdad. But i forgave after so many years. Hes not the father of my baby but hes the reason why i became a rebel and then got pregnant. My aunt took my baby away. And up to now im still hurting. And waiting till the time comes she will comeback to me. I myself dont have any communications wd my baby since my aunt doesnt want me to communicate wd my child and that starts a very big fight in our family and so now our family is not a family anymore. Im just praying that she will always be well and happy and all her dreams come true and that one day God will let us meet each other again. I sure hope not 77yrs later but hopefully soon when she turn 18 in 2019. I too have a family of my own a husband and 2 kids a boy and a little girl. But my first born will always be my princess. Shes always in my heart every single day that pass. This is the reason y i bought the book bcoz i can relate to the story the feelings the aches hurt the happiness when i first held her and see her face. Im not as angel as minka im not even half of a person she is. But a mothers heart will always have the same feelings for their kids. Thanks for sharing the story. I dont feel like im the only one in the world anymore that cries at night and nobody knows why and nobody sees but me and God.

The Waiting. What a great and powerful story of God's love and redemptive power. Couldn't hardly put it down, especially the farther in the story I got.

So inspiring!!!. I bought this book Saturday night and haven't been able to put it down!! 3 nights it took me to read it and it is such an amazing story of a woman with enormous faith and determination!! She is a true inspiration!! We need more people in this world like Minka!!! And yes I actually cried!! This book will NOT disappoint and is worth every penny you spend on it. It is definitely worth it's weight in gold!! But it and embark on a very memorable journey!!

10/10. Cried throughout this whole book. I’m still crying. I stayed up all night reading this, crying. Read this book, today. 10/10
