Good story, but the ending leaves much to be desired.. Girl falls for customer, who seduces him. Girl gets fired and regrets her life situation. Then finds out the customer, her lover, was a brother to the man who killed her brother.

Love it!. Reading book one has me hooked. Of course, I thought the relationship between Avery and Burke escalated rather quickly, but the overall plot is great and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. Sexy and mysterious all at once, it's definitely worth your time.

WHIPPED. This book is a great read as are all of Lucia Jordan's books! I can't wait to read the rest of her books! This is one on those books that I couldn't put down and wanted more when I was done.. Where do I find myself a Burke?

Omg this book is amazing and inspiring for young people to know how to stand up for themselves when they are not being treated good and show them that no matter the circumstances you face and how many times you felt life in they will always be someone that will be there to help you even if you find obstacles. Whipped and wanting more...... The problem with this book is....it's far too short! I wanted more, and luckily there's a series! I can't wait to find out more on Avery and Burke. This is a great intro into the lives of these two and the bit of mystery surrounding the history of Burke and how he knows Avery....well written.
