Another Perfekt tale. As a Valkyrie, Brynn is tasked to protect the God of War, Tyr. Henrik is Tyr's other bodyguard and the three of them have been friends for years. Her crush for Henrik has been for just as long, but she must maintain her perfekt control to rise within the Valkyrie ranks and protect the Realms. Unknown forces abducted the Goddess of Love and Brynn and Henrik are tasked ti find out who and where, all before the Realms descend into chaos. Brynn has a major crush on Henrik but she cannot give in to any of those feelings if she is to keep her position and advance in the Valkyries. Henrik seems to be oblivious to her feelings and causes Brynn heartache. She is also avoiding her past, the present is a huge battle, and all is weighing heavily on her. I love Brynn and Henrik and read about their interactions previously. SO awesome to read their story now and get to know each one a little more in depth. Brynn's inner dialogue is intense and I love how fragile and strong she is wrapped in one beautiful package. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Out-of-this-realm perfekt action and romance!. The best word to describe ST Bende’s Ære Saga book 2 is: PERFEKT! I thoroughly enjoyed book 1, Perfekt Order, but honestly, for me, Perfekt Control is realms beyond its predecessor. I read it in 2 days and promptly added it to my Favorites Shelf. In book 2, we again get to see Mia and her hunky Norse God of War, Tyr, but this time from the POV of his perky Valkyrie bodyguard, Brynn. However, being privy to Brynn’s thoughts shows that behind her bubbly exterior she locks her true feelings in a black box—her fear, grief, guilt, and secret love for bodyguard partner hottie Henrik Andersson. She prides herself on this Control. In a perfekt analogy, Brynn and Henrik have to follow a dangerous trail across the realms, determine the masterminds behind the capture of goddess of love Freya, and ultimately fight for the freedom of Love. I laughed, cried (some good tears too, don’t worry!), swooned, fumed, shook my kindle, sighed, and totally grinned like a loony at the science-nerdy and Norse-myth-geeky references ST peppered throughout the heart-gripping romance and exciting action. This is my favorite ST Bende book yet, and any fan of YA, NA, romance, norse mythology and fantastical action will love this book! ***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review***

Wonderful, powerful, emotional fun!. The second book in the saga surprised me, in a very good way. I bought the first book and absolutely loved it and got the chance to win a copy of the second story. I didn't realize until I started reading it that the story continues with the point of view of another character but keeps everyone from the first story intermixed. That's what I get for not reading the story blurb but who needs it when I know the book is going to be great just because S.T. Bende wrote it? lol. I love that idea as it got me into knowing this other character much better. Where the first story was more yum yum Norse god this book was a lot more deeply involved into the back story and emotions that are deeply buried. It was a joy ride of emotions that I absolutely loved. Her style of writing makes it easy to stay involved in the story without getting too lost as there is a lot of stuff to remember in this special world she has created. It was a wonderful, powerful, emotional, read that I highly recommend.

The book is about Brynn and Henrik or as everyone loves to call them "Brynnrik". Brynn is such an amazing character and getting a deeper look into who she is was a great experience. She loved him for six hundred years and her feeling for him never change! Been there done that!!  Henrik is the Perfekt book boyfriend. He is incredibly good-looking, sexy, really smart, fun, caring and can cook anything. What else could you possible want in a guy? S.T. Bende has done it again. I love the process of the love story. I love how she builds the characters, the adventure and the romance. I cannot wait for the next book. P.S. I am going to try the Hotcakes!

Amazing!. * I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review* Perfekt control is the sequel to Perfekt order. In this book we are in Byrnn's world. Of course we also get to read just how madly in love she is with Henrick! Boy did this book have so much happen. It was like an emotional roller coaster. In the end we get the best happily ever after! I loved this book! I seriously think this is the best book S.T has wrote yet! I loved reading about all the different realms. I also loved being in Byrnn's head! She is freaking hilarious! I can't get over it. I loved loved loved loved the ending. I'm so happy! Thank you for another amazing story S.T.!

Absolutely Perfekt!. Once again S.T. Bende delivers! This book is absolutely Perfekt! With each book it just keeps getting better and better. I love how Brynn who's a tough valkyrie who deals with her lifelong crush of Henrik and learn to give up her control to gain what she most desires.

What a ride. This is one of those saga's that just keep getting better. The twists and turns and surprises never stop and leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I just couldn't read fast enough I wanted to know what happens next!! Can not wait for the next one!

Fantastic page turning read. Perfect Control is the second book in the AEre Saga, and what a saga it is. Henrik and Brynn are the bodyguards of Tyr the god of war and his girlfriend, human Mia Ahlstrom, we learned about them in Perfekt Order, book 1. ST Bende continues to draw us into her Relms. The book is exciting, it's sweet and it's an adventure. You travel with "Brynrik" into several relms, you feel like you are part of their effort to save the Goddess of Love before the world is impacted adversly. I really enjoyed getting to know Hottie Henrik, hunkie nerd & Brynn Valkyrie, smart, sweet and she can kick some serious tush (as Mia would say). I don't want to say too much, READ THIS Story, you will love it as much as I do. This book gave me everything i was looking for and more. I even got the beginning of a HEA.

Great characters, non-stop action, and a simmering romance. *****The author provided a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.***** Just about perfekt, so I’m giving it five stars. If you loved Perfekt Order, you will most likely love Perfekt Control. It’s got the same great characters and the same non-stop action. The biggest difference is that there is not quite as much romance, but when it’s there, it’s incredible. Plot: When Freya goes missing, and Odin forces Tyr to sit out of her rescue mission, Brynn and Henrik are tasked with finding the missing goddess. As they travel from world to world, the pair faces giants, dragons and demons, but none of those things frighten Brynn as much as a future without Henrik. Characters: In Perfekt Order, Mia and Tyr were undoubtedly awesome, but to me, the real standouts were Brynn and Henrik. Brynn is spunky and fun-loving, but she’s also incredibly strong and brave. Like Brynn, Henrik is strong and brave, but he’s also super smart, mechanically inclined, and very funny. Even though both characters are great on their own, their scenes together are so sweet that you can’t help but root for them to get together. Mia, Tyr, Elsa and Forse are still around, and we get to see how Mia is adjusting to the new world she has entered. (Side note: Tyr is more sweet than cocky in this book, but he continues to be the strong, protective god that we have come to know and love.) Freya (the goddess of love) obviously isn’t around as much, but even in her absence, she makes a huge impact on the story. Tyr’s biological father continues to be a behind the scenes threat, but the primary villain in this book is Hel. She is much crueler than Fenrir was, and she is much harder to sympathize with, especially when we find out the motive behind her actions. Writing: Like Perfekt Order, Perfekt Control was very easy to read. The story is compelling, the action is non-stop, and the book is very well edited. There were a couple of paragraphs I wish had been shorter, but there was really nothing else to complain about. Bende did such an incredible job of combining mythology and imagery that readers can actually visualize the world she created and feel like they are part of it. There is some cursing (a lot of it in Swedish), a ton of violence, and a smidge of sexual tension, so if the book were a movie, I’d probably rate it PG-13. Bottom Line: Perfekt Control is another great entry in what is shaping up to be a phenomenal series. It’s one of those books that you think about even when you’re not reading it. I was so anxious to pick it up each night that I sped right through it. Now I am forced to wait (impatiently) for the sequel. Most of the problems in Perfekt Control are resolved by the end of the book, but the story is continued in Perfekt Balance, which focuses on the relationship between Elsa and Forse.

Perfekt. OMG! ST did such an amazing job with this one. I cannot imagine a better book for Brynn. This had it all - love, fear, self-doubt, pain, battles, hotties and action. From the stunning cover to the imaginative way the story plays out you get everything you could want in a book. Henrik and Brynn are the Perfekt match - Their story will hit you in the feels and give you the ride of your life. I didn't think it could get better than the Elsker books of Perfekt Order but Perfekt Control takes it to the next level and really elevated the ÆRE series. I loved this book and will definitely read it many more times.

Another Amazing Book. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review of Perfekt Control. I love this book!! Brynn and Henrik are amazing and my favorite characters of The Aere Saga. Brynn is the type of character you would love to have as a best friend or better yet a close sister. She is spunky, intelligent, an amazing fighter, and loyal to those she cares for. It was quite the journey to read of Brynn’s heartbreaking past and watching her break through her struggles with her fear. Henrik my new “book boyfriend” is a sweet, caring guy who has done some amazing things for his best friend Brynn and a few things that makes you want to yell at him. Overall all Perfekt Control is a fun and emotional story that will keep you involved through the whole book. Another “Perfekt” book by S.T. Bende.

The best kind of Perfektion!!!. I have read all of STs other books and this was by far my favorite. I felt so many emotions while reading this amazing book! Suspense, happiness, shock, happy tears and everything in between! ST has this amazing gift of drawing you in and making the character so real that you feel like you know them personally and you even start talking like them! Brynn and Henrik have stolen my heart and I look forward to many more fun stories from them!

Awesome Book!. Perfekt Control by ST Bende I absolutely love Perfekt Control, the second book in the awesome Aere Saga. This book includes all of the characters from the first book but instead of Mia and Tyr being the focus, it shifts to Brynn and Henrik, who I have to say, we're my favorites from book one. Brynn is a petite, beautiful valkyrie battle goddess assigned to protect the God of War, Tyr, with the smokin hot assassin/body guard Henrik Andersson. The three of them, along with many of their friends, are immortal gods from Norse mythology. Brynn is extremely smart, funny, sweet, caring and can totally kick some butt. She also has been in love with Henrik her whole life and for an immortal that's a seriously long time. Henrik is the Perfekt book boyfriend. He is incredibly good-looking, sexy, really smart, fun, caring and can cook anything. What else could you possible want in a guy? He has been friends with Brynn and Tyr since they were very young and the three of them work very well together. It's quite obvious that they all care about each other very much but Brynn is worried that she will be forever set in the "friend zone." Their adventure begins when the goddess of love is kidnapped and the fate of the nine realms is at stake because the worlds without love will turn to chaos in a very short time. Brynn and Henrik rush off to several of the other realms to find information on how to save the goddess and have all sorts of misadventures and fun. I love the story line and the way ST Bende developed her characters. I found myself worried, concerned, embarrassed and excited right along with Brynn and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. I didn't want the book to end and I can't wait for the next one to be released. I would love to give this more than five stars!

Awesome. Perfect Control is an awesome story, you will love it especially if read the previous one. This one is seen from Brynn's point of view. It has more adventures with fighting in the different realms. You will enjoy peeking inside Brynn's head and seeing why she thinks that way and what makes her a strong Valkyrie. Once you start you will not put it down. I love how ST has blended Norse mythology with modern technology.

The Best from S.T. Bende to date. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is absolutely the best book S.T. Bende has written to date. The story is well written and the characters come to life with each word. I experienced the whole gamut of emotions as I read Perfekt Control. I laughed, cried, swooned, and wanted to throw my iPad all while I couldn't put the book down. While getting a glimpse of Mia and Tyr, the main focus is the relationship between Brynn and Henrik. *Sigh* I can't get enough Brynnik. I can not wait until the next book comes out. I need more Norse mythology in my everyday life.

Just Perfekt. I got an arc of this book for an honest review. 3 words to describe Perfekt Control Fabulous Perfekt and Amazing. Perfekt Control Brynnrik's book will leave you breathless. It has action adventure romance twists and turns, everything a person could want in a book. S.t. Bende never fails to amaze me with her books and she has a knack for writing a story that makes you fall in love with everyword you read and not want to put it down, and when you actually finish the book you want to cry because its over. Brynn, Hennrik are the Perfekt Couple and I was very happy to read their story that ending was so sweet that I was crying I was so happy. I cant wait for the next couple to show up and fall in love with St Bende writing all over again.

So Good!!. Simply fantastic and epic! Brynnrik is my new favorite couple! ST has done a marvelous job.

Perfekt Addition to the Series!. What another amazing story added to the Aere Saga! I simply adored Brynnrik! They're truly a perfekt match! This was fast paced (not too fast though), full of humor, action, and romance! It captivated me from the fist page until the very end! I loved seeing the camaraderie of the whole gang and how well they all work and enjoy their time together. Brynn- she's sweet, loyal, protective of those she cares for, smart, strong, and brave! Their first kiss broke my heart! I felt so bad for Brynn, but I had a feeling there was a reason behind Hennrik's decision, so I had to try not to get too upset. Lol Hennrik- he's sweet, loyal, smart, protective, and totally adorable wearing glasses to try to fit in with the mortals! And holy moly the man can cook! I can't wait to try out the recipe for HennriksHotcakes and to read book 3, Perfekt Balance!! ARC received from the author for an honest review.

Perfektion!. This book was great! I swear, each book by S.t. Bende becomes my new favorite. I love Brynn, she is such a fun character to read. If I needed rescuing, I would want Brynrick to come save me! She and Henrick work well with each other. Even though I got a little mad at him, Henrick is a great male lead. They really do make the Perfekt team. And oh man! The adventure they go on is all over the place! I loved seeing new realms and side characters. Bende really out did herself on this one! Can't wait for the next in this series!!

Once again, another new favorite. Once again, another new favorite… ST Bende delivers her best book yet. This book is all action from the start. You get a chapter to get reacquainted with the characters you know and love (Brynn, Hennrik, Tyr, Mia and Elsa) and then they’re off. With lots of humor, a few fight scenes, some romance, some new characters and some heart break, this whirlwind journey takes you on a true roller coaster of emotions. Will Brynn stay in perfekt control or will she sacrifice that for all she loves? Just so you know, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review (and I really hope the next one comes out soon!)

A Must Read from S.T. Bende. Perfekt Control exceeded all of my expectations. I absolutely loved it. This exceptional story is Brynn's point of view and takes place right after Perfekt Order. Perfekt Control . They are my favorite couple don't get me wrong I love Tyr and Mia. Perfekt Control was so emotional from feeling tense to find out what happens next to happy at what happens throughout the book. In this story we got to really know who Brynn is and why she is the way she is. She thoroughly enjoys scientific toys and making them with Henrik and Mia. Brynn goes on a mission to get Freya back the goddess of love. She was taken and could put the world out of love. That could cause a lot of damage for everyone. In all the realms Brynn and Henrik traveled to whichever ones that could give them answers on where Freya was taken. They never dreamed that the realm that she was taken to is the last one they ever wanted to go to. Along the way they battled giants that breathed fire to dragons. Everything seemed to be out of balance and they aimed to set everything right again once they found Freya and returned her to the good side. There were so many emotions that went along with this story of Brynn and Henrik. It was an amazing and well written story. An added bonus was Henrik's Hotcakes recipe. Can't wait to try the recipe S.T. Bende. Thank you for another great story and can't wait to read more.

Love ❤️. Love all of the Ære and Elsker series, but Bryn and Henrik are just my favourites! It must be the scientist in me! Some of the best YA books about (I much prefer light hearted romance and end of days crises to the adult fiction!) Can’t wait for perfekt match to be released!

An emotional rollercoaster ride of perfektion!!. In this second instalment of S.t. Bende's fabulous Aere Saga, we discover that that age old adage "No rest for the Asgardians" definitely rings true. This time round, the tale unfolds through the viewpoint of Brynn Aksel - resident technical Goddess and vivacious Valkyrie. Following straight on from the dramatic ending of Book 1: Perfekt Order, our favourite Norse Crew are ready for some down-time celebrating Mia's eighteenth birthday. However, the forces of darkness have other plans, launching a savage attack that ends with the abduction of Freya, Goddess of Love (and Brynn's boss). Tyr, God of War wastes no time mobilizing his troops, sending Brynn and Henrik off to gather intel and Alva dust before launching an all out assault to rescue Freya before Love disappears from the realms forever, leaving darkness to rule.. The mission is Brynn's top priority, but her perfekt control instilled in her by her Valkyrie training is sorely tested at every turn - temptation stares her in the face in the form of Henrik, her "TechGod" counterpart and long-time object of her unrequited and secret adoration - Valkyries are not allowed to date until they make captain rank and Freya only knows how long that will take to happen...and Brynn's not even sure Henrik is even interested in her. Add in Henrik's ex girlfriend and acute bifrost sickness every time they have to jump realms, Brynn's really not having a great day..... and it's gonna get a Hel of a lot worse before it's over. S.t. Bende's imagination knows no bounds, and we are caught up in the action right from the get-go. As time passes and the different realms begin to be affected by the absence of love, S.t. creates a real sense of urgency as the worries, fears and doubts of the main characters emerge, masterfully weaving her spell around the reader as we empathise with our heroes, cheer loudly when the bad guys get what's coming to them and lose ourselves in the brilliance of her descriptions of the various realms the team visits in their search for Freya. Perfekt Control has everything you could wish for and way more besides - fast paced action, edge of seat suspense, well choreographed fight scenes, true love, loyal heroes you love and villains you love to hate, a few heart-stopping moments and even a few happy tears. S.t. Bende continually delivers, and as much as I love her other books, Perfekt Control is definitely the best yet... Don't miss this series. It's a winner :)
