Loved it!,. Baby Girl is the 4th in Bette Lee Crosby's Memory House series, and as of now my favorite. I sat down ready to read the continuing story of Annie, Oliver and all the other people in the previous stories, but was introduced to Cheryl Ann, her Mama and Daddy, and became so into her life and story I read this in one sitting. I first thought great, another love story, with happy ever after...WRONG! Her life had so many peaks and valleys I wondered how she would manage..she fell for men that were wrong for her, but each gave her a gift..As a Mom, I always said my children are my greatest achievement....it's well worth the read, and it teaches some very important life lessons...😍

In no way, did Bette Lee Crosby influence this review. Baby Girl, the #4 book in the Memory House series is a book you will not want to miss. I could not put the book down, I just wanted to know what happened to Cheryl Ann. Cheryl Ann the main character starts out life with a less than loving mother and a wonderful father who sadly passes away too soon. WhenCheryl Ann is of age, she runs off with her boyfriend and we follow her throughout her life. It is book that makes you want more and one that I definitely recommend.

Based on a true story. Baby Girl is Cheryl Ann’s story about growing up with a mother who seemed incapable of loving anyone, even her daughter and husband. When her father died, Cheryl Ann became more lonely than ever. Then things changed when Ryan Carter moved into her neighborhood. Though still in her teens she and Ryan set out on their own, and complications in their relationship set in when Cheryl Ann became pregnant. Ryan did not want a baby, and Cheryl Ann was put in a situation of choosing Ryan or the baby she was expecting. At times, this was a difficult read because Cheryl Ann was emotionally abused causing her to make decisions she didn’t want to make. Eventually, she finds the strength to move out and on, but her troubles didn’t end. The author created a complex character in Cheryl Ann. She was weak and easily led, but adversity is an unyielding teacher, and Cheryl Ann found her strength and determination to make a good life for herself and her children. Reading this book, you will laugh, and you will cry. You will be angry, and yet be overjoyed. It is a heartwarming novel based on a real person’s story – her growth, her weakness, and her strengths and resolve. This is a book you don’t want to miss. Baby Girl is the fourth book in the Memory House series. It is not necessary to read them in order, but some of the characters are presented in the previous books, and, therefore, enhances your reading and enjoyment if read in order. I love all of Crosby's books and I have to give this one Five Stars. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Great Story. I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review, and I honestly loved the book. It was well-written, as I have found her books to be. I read it in one day and enjoyed getting into Cheryl's life and following her through it. The mother in me was touched by this story and I felt very connected to Cheryl. Crosby did a great job of pulling me into her life and its challenges. Emotional story well told. It's interesting to see how the events in a life and change a person and help them grow. I loved that it was based on a true story. I think some of the best stories out there are ones people have truly lived. Thanks Bette. It was excellent.

Baby Girl. Lovely book from beginning to end! Although this book was a 4th in a series I liked it so much I went back and got the 1st of the series!
