Must read this story!. I love everything Lydia Michaels! This story really touched me having had friends gone through and going through a similar situation. Emma and Riley’s story made me laugh, made me cry and enjoy the story of love and friendship.

An Absolute Must Read. This story is one that will have you in tears as you feel Emma and Riley's pain. It also has you have through the good times. The chemistry is strong and the love is stronger. It is completely realistic and draws you in so deeply it feels as if it is you or a close friend going through all. It is extremely well written and the support characters are fantastic. They add so much to the story. This is a story that is a must read!!!! It is beautiful and passionate where it leaves you with a smile on your face and new lease on life.

Outstanding!!!. If you only get the chance to read one book this year, make sure it’s this book!!! 😍❤️😍❤️ I love most anything Lydia Michaels writes so i went into this book blind. I had no idea what the story was about. I didn’t even know the characters names but I was hooked by a couple pages in. And the more I read, the deeper I fell! An outstanding, emotional read that will have you crying, laughing and crying again! Truly a beautiful read!!!

Wow. Life in Pink. Wow just succinctly describes my reaction to this audiobook. This story drew me in as a reader/listener. I was unprepared for the depth of emotion and the realism of describing the impact of a serious health crisis on the patient as well as those who love her. There was a lot to unpack in this book including a friends to lovers/sister’s best friend trope, parent/adult child conflict, LGBTQ+ struggles, the impact of man manipulated products on our health and environment as well as a life threatening illness and the aftermath and identity issues that come after recovery. It was a relief to reach the happy ending after the story took me on a roller coaster of emotions. The narrators did an excellent job as Emma and Riley and really made the story come to life. I started this book without reading any description and was not expecting the meaning behind the title, which was excellent, by the way. This is my second Lydia Michael’s story and I am really impressed. I think you may be too. I am voluntarily leaving this review after listening to an advanced complementary copy of this audiobook.

So good. This story packed an emotional punch and I absolutely loved it. Emma and Riley were magical and everything I love about a friends to lovers romance.

The purest love. How have I ever lived in this world and never came across Lydia Michaels til now? This is my 8th read by her in the matter of 2 months…and I’m just enamored with her writing. She conveys such depth in her character and such emotion in her writing that at times it’s too much for me too handle. I CONSUMED this book. The love that she writes in every word and phrase really set themselves inside you. This story about Emma and Riley, while unexpected for both, really turned into something beautiful. The way Riley fell in love with Emma is so rare, even in books. It made my chest ache. You know that feeling you get in your chest, when something so profound happens, you feel this sort of flighty feeling? I felt that way the entire time I read their love story. And more so even reading about Emma and her struggles with her life and what she deals with. It’s a story about overcoming obstacles that one never intends to deal with in their lifetime. It’s about hope and friendship. And it’s about love.

Emotional and thought provoking. Riley and Emma have just started a blossoming relationship when their lives are turned upside down. The story is told in three parts- the new love, the life changing event, and the journey to healing. This is a very raw and emotional book, with many endearing moments as well as laugh out loud scenes. Rarity is another well written character of this story and there is family drama that complicates all their lives. Lydia Michaels definitely did her research with this book and her words are heartfelt and will resonate with me for a long time. Brian Callanan is a great narrator for this captivating story.

Wow just wow. OH my the feelings. I always just drop into books I never really read the blurbs. That being said this book took my breath away. Having a loved one go through this makes this story even more powerful. Riley…..wow just wow! Emma such an amazing woman Rarity…..absolutely loved her! A must read but bring tissue!

Such a Great story. Started off cute and I was now seeing this whole best friends brother thing was happening and loved it. Very sweet and adorable couple. But Lydia Michaels didn’t leave us with this sweet heartwarming story… in came the major heartbreaking part that tore me to pieces! She did manage to put my heart back together by the time I finished though. Also brought up some great facts regarding food that I am completely already invested in due to my daughters health problems. Thankful to see these points brought up in this book to make people aware as well.
