His nicknames give me the ICK. Spicy, yes. But Ash calling Greer “princess” and “angel” makes the kink cringey.

Horrible. I hade no idea what I was getting myself into when I started this. Tried to skip through the unrealistic sex parts but there wasn’t enough storyline left after that so ended up deleting halfway through. Some eroticism and kinkiest is fine, if that’s what you’re in to, but not when that’s ALL there is.

Wow!!. Holy cow. What a book this was!! I was sucked in from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Sierra Simone is one of my favorite authors so I should know better, but WOW. Anyways, Greer Galloway is the granddaughter of a former VP of the USA. Maxen Ashley Colchester (Ash) is the bastard son of a former president and his adviser. Ash doesn’t know this for most of his life tho. He’s a war hero and worked his way to becoming POTUS himself. His best friend, Embry, has been there with him through it all. Greer first gets entangled with Ash, then with Embry. There’s always been something about Greer and Ash that has always just fit and eventually they’re able to get together. This book had me laughing, gasping, making confused and deer-in-headlight faces, among many others. There’s so much sex and plenty of kinks and I’m here for it. Even with loooong and descriptive sex scenes, there was still the romance and the plot being driven forward, making me turn the pages at warp speed. I’m straight into reading book 2 bc I have GOT to know what happens!!

Hated/loved 5 stars Rollercoaster. Infuriatingly weak heroine, manipulative evil incestuous hero, but I LOVED it. Head is still spinning

i. have. no. words.. at first i kept getting confused with the time changes, but once the story got rolling, i was in love. i love how you describe secret emotions without outwardly saying it, so you gain suspicion. the language used for this book made it so much more captivating. don’t get me started on the plot twists ! greer & embry, then greer & maxen & finally the love triangle 😍 i do feel bad for embry & greer, though. embry is just there & greer doesn’t know if the lights are on in her head. i can’t wait to learn more about embry, and his relationship with maxen, but i wonder the same question as greer. is she kinda the 3rd wheel? i have so many questions because this story has so many turns!!!

So so so so good. This series broke my heart so many times but I keep coming back to it!

A MUST READ!. Wow! What a rollercoaster ride of emotions! Talk about tangled webs... a must read!! Definitely HOT, SEXY and do much more. Add in some angst and suspense, that’ll make you run, not walk to get American Prince.

Chefs kiss. It was a bit of a slow start but it’s good to get all of the background. Sierra Simone has a way of immersing you into the story so that you don’t just read but you feel everything. The spice is phenomenal and the emotions are chefs kiss. Loved it and can’t wait to read the next book.

Mind Blowing Epicness!!!. I have wanted to read this for soo long! I finally found a little extra time and decided now was the time. And I’m completely gobsmacked and blown away!!! This was beyond what words can describe, a tale of love and loss and love and so so much more! The one good thing about waiting to start, is not having to wait to end. I can’t wait (which I won’t) to jump into the next epic tale that conuinues this mind blowing story. I thought I loved Sierra before. I’m fairly certain you can triple that now!!!

Heartbreak. Even though this story is about falling in love, it’s mostly about heartbreak. About having the tiniest taste of heaven and then paying for it for years and years and years. And being in love but being able to do anything about it. I loved this whole book. It surprised me that it was about three people, but it’s an incredible story.

The players...President Maxen "Ash" Colchester, war hero, suave politician and domineering alpha. Handsome Embry Moore, his running mate, best friend who would do anything for Ash. Strong and independent Greer Galloway, beautiful granddaughter of a Vice President. Merlin, who more than once warns Greer to "Keep your kisses to yourself". Jealous Abilene, and scheming world leaders. "Every cell in my body cries out for his presence, pines for the slightest brush of his hands or words or eyes." I loved everything about this gorgeous book! I was captivated from the very first pages of the prologue to the jaw-dropping epilogue. I want more. I need more right now!

My HOTTEST read of the year!. Ok, so here's the deal. Goodreads says I've read roughly 252 books this year. Some of those are Audiobooks I reviewed, and then there are more Audiobooks that I listened to and never got around to writing a review. So, between eBooks and Audiobooks, I've probably consumed closer to 300 books this year. Choosing a favorite book in a year is pretty much an impossibility for me, so my next statement holds a lot of weight. I'm declaring American Queen my HOTTEST read of the year. HOT doesn't even begin to describe it though. It's so much more. It's a glorious ménage of all sorts of feelings and things. Forbidden, political thriller, mysterious, thoughtful, sensual, commanding, shocking and all-consuming. I could go on forever. This book broke me and I’m having a really hard time moving on from it! I was quite shocked to come to the end and find that this book is part of a series and there is a cliffhanger, but all is forgiven if I get more of what I just read! Warning: this book contains scenes of m/m/f & m/m. If those things are in your comfort zone or you're at least willing to give them a try for the first time I HIGHLY recommend this book!

More than loved it!. If this series was made into a movie, I would 1000% watch it. Loved every bit of the books
