Frost Blood. This was a great fantasy for readers that liked , "A Court of Wings and Ruin," and "Graceling." It had amazing character development and a great story line. With awesome action and a spark of romance. It was an amazing book and I can't wait till the next one comes out!

Adventurous and Entertaining. Frostblood is a fast paced fantasy novel that has some very cliché aspects to it. A snarky and powerful heroin with the weight of the world on her shoulders. A wounded and handsome hero who has built walls around his big heart. An ancient prophecy and a vicious ruler who must be defeated. Even with the stereotypical aspects of a young adult fantasy novel, Elly Blake's writing brings to life an adventurous and entertaining story that I thouroughly enjoyed enough to read the next book in the series. I really like that she left the story open to continue, but not with a massive cliffhanger that is going to drive me crazy.

Simply Good. Simply a good find. Easy and Quick Read. Already read it twice, since I picked it up a few days ago.

Fantastic Series. I laughed, cried, this was magnificent. Do yourself a favor and get this series. It is so worth it and then some. Love love love all the love in the world for this series In such a trying time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Rounded Up. Wow. The BANTER, the determination of the characters, that bit of romance (that thankfully wasn’t over-the-top-fluffy-cringey-ew, but was just ✨Amazing✨), the Evil PeopLE *lots of angry sounds*, the fight scenes, diD I MENTION THE BANTER THO it was *chefs kiss* the greatest, the lore, the side characters- I COULD GO ON AND ON But I won’t because that would stall your reading this book ASAP. If you love fantasy, romance, banter, YA books in general, being happy and/or annoyed etc etc. Read. This. Book. (It’s also clean, if anyone was wondering;) *slight spoilers ahead* (There are some: 1. slightly unwanted advances from a slimy, stupid, powerful idiot. [almost all descriptions are my own] 2. Possibly a few small cuss words, but nothing I specifically remember. 3. And blood [as suggested in the title] but not to a gore-y extent. It’s just ... violent.) I hope that helped 😂 Happy reading!

My absolute favorite ❤️. I had never finished a book series or a single book in my life but this book had my crying & my heart skipping beats. The characters are just so cute & I relate to both of them a lot actually. I couldn’t put the book down (although I’m late to the fan club) I finished this series on a deployment in 2018 & then I read it again & again. My all time favorite series, I wasn’t much of a reader before these. But PLEASE READ BECAUSE ITS SO GOOD 😭❤️

Loved it!. I’m so excited to have a new YA Fantasy series to look forward too. I must have a love for girl power because I get such enjoyment finding series where a young woman comes along with powers and save the day. I hate to give too much description for stories like this. I’m a reader that wants to dive in without knowing what’s going to happen , so all I’m going to say is the storytelling by this author was vivid, imaginative and it completely sucked me in. It’s going to be a long wait until September for the next book! ARC provided by NetGalley.

YESYESYES. This was such a good book! So interesting and different and cool. The characters were dynamic and intriguing!!!! You really fall in love with the characters and start to empathize with them! Such a sweet romance that wasn't the focus on the story, but definitely wasn't underdeveloped at all. It was so balanced, the main plot, the side plots etc it was all so well written!!!!! I'm not saying you will enjoy it as much as I did, but you should definitely try it out. I'm so glad I did, I can't wait for the next book!!!!!!

Great story. This story has a strong main character with a lot of heart. If you like Sarah J. Maas books, you will enjoy this book too! Once you start reading it is hard to stop.

It was okay. It’s a good read but I was expecting more. The banter was sometimes witty but other than that it was lacking (for what I was looking for). I read the excerpt at the ending and already know where it’s heading. If I didn’t read the excerpt then I wouldn’t want to read the second book because there was no “hmpf” at the end. I don’t know if I want plunge into the second book. Don’t get me wrong. It is a good read. You should read it. It truly is a YA.

Soooooo much better towards then end. It can be a little confusing at first but once you get to know the characters and the intents of the story it gets much better. The book was wonderful to read and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
