She plans to get married and pregnant. Then she can return home to have her child. Vlad is the adopted nephew of the king. He and his brothers are participating in the breeding festival. This is his first festival. The king has them to meet the strangely dressed Clara from Redde. His crystal glows. She is his fated mate. She has outrageous hair sculpture, white painted face, huge custom dress and demure personality. She is not the outdoors kind of bride he was hoping for. Vlad and Clara need to understand each other’s culture and upbringing. Good story with a HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Totally mismatched.. He wants to be wild and free, she’s been taught to never show emotion. Totally mismatched, this couple will have to work to find their HEA. This was a great read, neither expected to find their perfect match in someone who was so very different. Another dragon lord finds his HEA!

Great read. Clara wants to marry for love but that is not how it works in her culture. Lord Vladen is a nobleman by adoption. He’s excited to participate in the marriage festival. He meets Clara and falls in love. There’s excitement and love in this book. I love this series. I love how Vladen what her pleasure is. Michele and pillow is an awesome writer with great ideas.

The Reluctant Lord. I loved this book and this author. It’s a Syfy fast paced dragon shifter romance story that I loved and kept my interest from being to end. I love Vlad and Clara they have a wonderful chemistry together. The storyline was intriguing with adventure drama suspense twists turns violence opposite attraction fear danger dragon shifters aliens compromises steam fated mates romance and love. Holy solarflowers. Holy solarflowers!!!! I love this one! I really want to know what happens with Riona and I keep hoping each book will give me more…. After the last book I was reluctant myself to continue this series but I am so glad I did! I loved everything about this book! Both main characters were amazing, the story line had heat, intrigue with also finally seeing the other enemy aliens, and all the feels. This might be my favorite book so far! Great read I couldn’t put down! Has me eager for the next one!

This series is great. Vlad and Clara are a great match and must work together even though their worlds snd customs are so different to make their marriage work.

Another wonderful addition to series.. Another wonderful addition to the series! This time we have Lord Vladan Ealdorman, Honorary of the Draig and High Mining Official story and his mate just might be my favorite of all the mates. Lady Clara of the Redding character was an interesting one, she may seem cold and unreachable, but as their story developed she blossomed. I enjoyed the intriguing storyline with loads of action ram and an unexpected romance that will have you cheering for their HEA. I can’t wait for more of this addicting series.

Another Great book in this series. They’re all good. I think so far this is one of the best ummm better....ones...... now I’ve got to find out the fate of one of the characters........ talk about Cliffhanger of cliffhangers.... this author keeps you wanting more & begging for details.... Never judge a Lord by his title. Vlad and Clara are a really odd match. Clara is high protocol nobility and Vlad or the Draig in general are down to earth everyday people. But when the crystal chooses a mate for a Draig it knows what it is doing. While Clara treats their union as an arranged marriage going through all of the motions expected of her, Vlad treats it as destiny, with a touch of whimsy. But this is not just a shifter loved story, there a a baddie afoot. What would be their honeymoon turns into a dangerous adventure. A Wild Man and a Reserved Bride. This one is a real fish-outta-water, opposites attract romance, with a cross-culture flare. I really liked the juxtaposition of Clara’s ultra-stiff Victorian-esque culture with Vlad’s culture that’s more similar to Vikings. The resolution of the Tyoe storyline was surprising and well-done. I’m really enjoying this series and I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

The story continues. I really enjoyed this book. I think one of the things that I am really liking about this series is how much background story there is in each book in addition to the main romance. This book advances the story quite a bit and answers some of the questions from previous books but the couple are what made this book amazing for me. Lady Clara is so completely different from any of the other women and especially from anyone Vlad or anyone on the planet has ever met. I love the way Michelle M. Pillow slowly feeds us bits of who and what Lady Clara is. I also enjoyed how clueless Ms. Pillow makes Vlad without ever making him seem stupid or mean. It is evident that he is trying hard to be a good husband but their cultures are just too different. Ms. Pillow makes sure that it comes across how hard both of them are trying to make things work. This is one of the things that I like best about the Ms. Pillow’s books that I have read in that she brings real problems into the relationships that she writes about. These are not books where things end with the wedding and they live “happily ever after”. I guess that even people on different worlds have to work things out. Solarflowers. Clara and her perceptions for interacting with people from different classes really irritated me at the beginning of the story. I did like seeing how over time spent with Vlad, more of the “real” Clara emerged. I still wished to have understood a bit more about the whole Redding family traditions, as so much of that impacted Vlad and Clara’s relationship. The suspense involving the mining operation and the other alien incursion tied in with other stories in the series. In the end it was nice to see a HEA emerge despite all odds.
