It was great!. I liked that it was a more mature setting. Most baseball romances I’ve found are of college students. This one was perfect for a sports romance binge!

Beautifully Written!!. Wow ... Nicole Williams has done it again!! Allie and Luke share such a wonderful and beautifully written story. Allie knows being a woman and working for a professional baseball team won't be easy. She wants to be taken seriously as the newest athletic trainer and has sworn off ever dating another baseball player. Luke Archer, the star of the team, has other plans in mind. Luke is not about to let the fear of striking out keep him from taking a swing! Luke and Allie have both been hurt before, can they learn to trust again? Or, is the baggage they both carry going to prove to be too much .... Their story isn't perfect, but it is perfectly theirs! Nicole Williams has done an amazing job developing the characters while telling their story. I laughed, I cried and by the end of the book really felt like I knew them! I would highly recommend this book and promise you will not be disappointed.

my reader heart is happy. There isn’t a Nicole Williams book that I don’t love and Stealing Home is another must read by this author. It’s not often that you meet a professional athlete with a good heart and the best of intentions. But Luke Archer is this man and so much more. I’m on a total baseball reading book binge right now and Nicole Williams has given readers true, authentic, heartwarming love, romance and trust. Allie Eden is a trainer for the San Diego Shock. She is one of very few women in her field and has worked her butt off to get to where she is; sacrificing relationships and her personal life because of her job, schedule, and dedication to this team. Luke Archer is one of the top baseball players in the game and after their first conversation where sparks fly and the chemistry is evident, the question becomes – how easy would it be to date someone in your field of work who understands the importance of the game? Could you mix business and pleasure? Luke surprised me..quite often actually and I loved that about him. He is a true romantic and nothing at all what I thought he would be; his past, his relationship with his sisters, his heart making me fall in love with him even more. Nothing in relationships is ever easy, most especially when you are trying to keep it on the hush hush, and this couple will have to battle rumors and untruths to go to the next level – to trust and to love. Not every guy is a player, not every guy is bad and Luke proves this time and time again. Stealing Home was pure pleasure to read because there was no drama for the sake of drama…it was just complete bliss to wrap myself in a good love story. This is another Williams magical masterpiece that will remind you of the importance of home. So many smile worthy and heart melting moments that made this reader’s heart so very, very happy. <3 <3

Stealing Home, stole my heart.. I so love a good sports romance, and this one had the winning combination. Successful hot jock, and beautiful and dedicated athletic trainer. Luke Archer was not the typical jock, as his heart, compassion and loyalty were as big as his talent on the field. Allie is trying to prove herself in a mans world of sports. She wants to be known for her work abilities, and falling for Luke would make everyone question how she really made it in her field. But resisting Luke proved more difficult than she thought and seeing this couple work through the innings of love was oh so much fun. I actually would like to see other characters from this story get their own chance at love, like Reynolds, and also sweet and sentimental Alex. Looking forward to more from Nicole.

Funny and Sweet!. Nicole Williams has a gift to present us new swoon-worthy heroes. From the moment I've read her Crash series I’ve been a fan of her. This book was a real delight. From the first moment Luke Archer the male protagonist of the story was introduced, I couldn’t help but have a little smile on my lips. He’s that inviting with his cocky attitude and seriously funny one-liners! Allie is one of the sport trainers of his baseball team and he knows that a relationship inside the team is a risk. But from start to finish he proves time and time again that he’s all in where she’s concerned. Being very invested in his sport, he doesn’t have a lot of free time during the season, but he’s willing to bring Allie in his world, because he knows she’s worth it. The story was told from Allie’s POV only and I really felt her insecurities concerning this new romance with Luke. She’s been hurt before and through all the book there’s certain obstacles that make her doubt the man she’s fast falling for. She wants to protect herself, but it's tough because Luke is that lovable! Together they were a fantastic couple with banters that made me laugh out loud and seriously sexy moments too. Their connection really translated across the pages perfectly. I would have liked to have secondary characters a little more present, the story mostly focusing on interactions between the main heroes. I’m really satisfied with this story. It contained everything entertaining about books that I like : a funny and cocky hero, an heroine struggling with trust and a whole lot of sweet moments ! Very well done job for Nicole Williams!
