Laurann Dohner took awhile but brings the goods.. I really like the cyborg books & this one doesn't disappoint. Each book follows a cyborg meeting his love mate. The writing is crisp, Laurann doesn't say they same thing 20x crying out why the character can't trust or something, so irritating. The stories are short but fill with plot & feeling so you are satisfied in the end but wanting more. I like sex in a story like this and one was fresh, hot but filled w/blooming feeling in a way that made sense to the characters & story line. I loved Vince teaching Deviant... I really enjoy Laurann Dohners books & suggest anyone who likes good writing, story continuity, over books & not just this story, memorable characters that stay true to who they are but learn & change just like real life..lol, interesting story/plot lines that make you think 'hmm what's next', Laurann Dohner is for you! All her series are good, the VLG, Breeds, Cyborgs, Mates, Raines, etc. so be sure to check them all out. Take Care & Be Safe
