Zandra is running away from a fully controlled lonely life in Charlotte and finds the people and opportunities in Colvin to be just what she's been looking for . As the new pretty face arrives, Carter realizes he is done being the bad boy and transitions into Zandra's "knight in shining armor" striking up a friendship that neither of them expected. But can their friendship progress into something more or will she always be the damsel in distress?

The lives of these four have been drastically changed when they all are drawn to Colvin by their friends. As they make lasting friendships and find new people to call their family, they may just find the pieces that have been missing and realize they are ready for love.
