LOVE. I loved this book so so much. I could go on forever about it honestly, but then you would be reading my review instead of downloading and reading an awesome book ;)

Amazing. This book is incredible and well written. As a gay girl that happens to be 15 there are not many gay or lesbian relationships in the books about high school today. Becky Albertali is an amazing author and I am so happy that she made this book. I hope she comes out with another one because I will be the first to buy it.

Who is this book for?. Maybe I’m just out of touch, but I really don’t understand who this book is for. Since it’s about high schoolers, I would assume it’s for high schoolers. But it really doesn’t seem appropriate for them. It’s somewhat overly sexual at points, and the language is just awful. I don’t know if high school kids really swear that much, but they certainly shouldn’t read books with this much swearing. Maybe it’s for adults? But most adults don’t really want to read about kids hooking up. And all the language and slang used is really really Gen Z, or at least it’s trying to be. Leah is pretty insufferable. She dislikes everybody for no real reason and just thinks she’s better than everyone else. I get that she is pretty relatable at times, but her character doesn’t ever really develop. She becomes moderately more nice to her mom’s boyfriend but that’s about it. Her own flaws don’t really get addressed, she just has people in her life who like her despite those flaws. The ending is a little disappointing. I mean poor Garrett, he’s the most likable person in the book and he just gets forgotten. And then to set him up with Morgan? The girl who apologizes off screen and then never gets another line. Have kids these days ever read anything other than Harry Potter or watched anything other than Doctor Who? I like both, but having the references shoved down my throat every other page was tiring.

Didn’t care much for it. I was really excited to read this book because I saw the movie Love, Simon and read the book and loved it. Leah for me was such a hard character to like. I finished the book because I paid for but it was so hard for me to even do that. I finished the book and my only thought was, “Is a refund possible???”

UgHHH IM CRYING. It’s so well written and tackles serious issues. Also I am shook. Ugh, I can’t explain it, but read this book. I promise you won’t regret it.

THE. BEST. THING. EVER.. This book is absolutely beautiful. It was wonderfully narrated by the fascinating Leah, and we learn all about her personal problems that she doesn’t really talk to her friends about, we see everything through her perspective and we see the world through her own eyes. Becky never fails to make me fall in love with every book she writes. I absolutely love the way this book was written, it’s just so easy to read and take everything in but still keep you interested throughout the whole thing, so is the rest of her work. I definitely recommend this book to e v e r y o n e, plus if you like/are a queer lady, you get a wonderful ending *evil laughter* hehe, you’re going to love this book!

Clinging.... After reading the first book, I thought the second one could not be better. On the contrary, this book is the better one! You get closer and closer the characters and you discover things that Simon spier didn’t have time to be nosy about. Simon says he observes a lot but he missed quite a bit.

A beautiful balm to a bi girl’s soul. Seriously. Where was this book when I was growing up?! So sweet and funny and lovely and relatable and powerful. I love her writing and this is a great follow-up to Simon, it feels so good to spend more time in this world with these wonderful kids! (Even though I’m now old enough to be their mom!)
