Foolish hearts by Emma Mills. Do not buy this book. The target audience at Barnes and Noble is for 12 year olds. The book is a piece of trash with filthy language and sexual innuendos and should be pulled from any children’s section in any store. Emma should stick to her cell biology instead of writing books.

Hilarious and fun book. I’m sure that I’m significantly older than the target audience for this book, but I loved this book so much. I’ve never laughed this much at a book in my entire life. I’m not even sure why I found some of their dialogue and thoughts so hilarious, but I honestly was smiling and laughing in real life and that never happens. Claudia is a great heroine, very mature for a YA heroine and so endearing. Gideon is honestly the best hero ever. He is so funny and nice and I wish more people were like that in real life. All of the side characters were fantastic too, they all seemed so real. This was such a great light read in between a lot of the more angsty stuff I read. Not that this didn’t have any angst, but it didn’t stress me out immensely, so that was a nice change. This book is for everyone, everyone can find something they love in this story.

Absolutely loved this. I’ve read five of the author’s contemporary romances and loved them all, but this one might be my absolute favorite. I appreciated that the friendship arc between Claudia and Iris was just as important as the romance between Claudia and Gideon. I adored Gideon’s goofiness and Iris’s prickly nature. Nice to see girl gamers get respect and an honest appreciation of BTS-style boy bands.
