Black hole of codependency. Not the worst book that I have ever read but possibly the most annoying. The lead character (Azrel) is a nightmare of neediness. Instead of being a strong character, she is nothing more than an overly petulant child, who continually surrenders to the slightest opposition, with the supporting characters constantly trying to appease her (a weak and pathetic heroine for millennials to identify with). The reader finds themselves drawn more to the supporting characters who are far better developed and intriguing. “Black Hole of Emo” is a far better identifier for [Azrel] than the heroine and warrior she is alleged to be.

I enjoyed it. I found this to be an interesting story. I was sorry when it ended because I wanted to read more.
