Couldn’t put it down. I haven’t found a book that I couldn’t put down for a long time, this book had me reading morning noon and night until finished!!

This is that book…. If you love dragons and romance, then, this is the book for you. It’s so captivating!

Worth reading. LOVED IT

LOVED - must read. Aside from the ACOTAR series this was one of my first ”romantasy” series and really really enjoyed it. The authors writing is so clean and easy to understand while still doing a great job of world building. After the first couple chapters I was hooked and read this within a week or so. I would say it has a similar feel to a Hunger Games/Giver vibes but with more fantasy and more mature. Some good spicy scenes and a great ending, I highly recommend it!

Hooked. I get sucked into books pretty often. It’s nothing new to me. But like a dragon this one picked me up and would not let me go. I had to force myself to drop it just to get anything done. Bless my boyfriend for being patient with me while I was in my reading coma for 2 days. I’m crying that the third book isn’t out yet. But I promise I’ll be one of the first to have it when it gets here. And I’ll seriously enjoy reading the first books all over again.

Will continue series. Very enjoyable if predictable

Helped Get Past Reading Slump. Since law school, I’ve been in a reading slump, and took me months to finish any book. This is the first one in years that I read in a single day, and could not put down. And that I wanted to reread immediately to catch references I missed. It’s been a long time since reading has brought me such contentment. It’s a fun, dark, entertaining read, and I can’t wait to start Iron Flame.

worst book i read in 2023. the main character is the horniest character i've ever read. if you enjoy reading about how ever inch of her tingles as she imagine getting pounded by the love interest maybe this is for you

Great read. An imaginative well thought out universe. She utilizes her own experiences in medical care and life to weave a compelling tale. A good ride.

Great overall but a little too horny near the end.. I really enjoyed reading this book in terms of the story, setting, and characters but its major drawback was the fact the last 250 pages or so are so extremely sexual it’s almost a different book entirely. It wouldn’t that bad if it was maybe 2 or 3 chapters dedicated to the two main characters being horny but it’s almost the entirely of the last third of the book. Every page has something overtly sexual on it all of a sudden which gets old after the first 30 times. I really wanted to give the book 5 stars but the amount of what is basically smut at the end of the book drops it down to 4.

Fantastic!!!. Not usually my genre but this book captivated me immediately and it was hard to put down. Such a joy to read.

Hype is worth it. I was hesitant to try this book, but all my friends kept encouraging me to give it a try. Oh boy, why didn’t I sooner! A story different than others and the dragons are the true stars for sure.

This author is a Zionist. This book is nothing new, if you want some dragons, find a book from an author that doesn’t support genocide.

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. Best fantasy novel I have read in a long time. The world building is incredible and her writing style teleports your mind into this world. The romance in the novel takes awhile to bubble up, but honestly, I was more encapsulated by the world rather than the FMCs romances. Once the romance aspect became mutual, it felt rushed and unnecessary at some parts of the novel. Made me cringe and get the ick a few times. Dialogues is sometimes childish which sucked me out of the novel.

A must read. One of the best books I’ve ever read

Loved it!. Bought this book on a whim, read it in one day because I couldn’t put it down. I love the world, the characters, and the storyline. Buying the next one immediately.

I loved Fourth Wing!. This story was so good. The author kept me hanging onto every word! I will say the romance portions do get a little cheesy here and there but I do try to remind myself they are just in their twenties and angsty 😂

Fourth Wing. Thrilling read! I’m so glad I bought this book. Rebecca… man I’m glad you wrote this… I appreciate your brain. What a wonderful way to spend a couple afternoons. Already bought the next in line and will eagerly buy another if the second matches the thrill of the first. Wow!

Read it in a week!!. I needed something to desperately pull me back into reading and this did exactly what I needed it too! I love absolutely every character and everything about the book EXCEPT I wish there was more of a prequel to Violet, Mira, and their parents were like before War College. Even if it was just a chapter or two. I know it will all likely come in due time but the edge of my seat can’t take it! It’s a super easy read (I read the whole book in a week and I’ve not been reading for about a decade now) but a lot to miss if you don’t follow closely. Buy it. Onto iron flame..

Good story, but the romance was a little much.. This is an easy read and has a fun storyline. You have an overall good scenario, good characters. The romance aspect went a little over the top though. Kind of detracted from the story. Overall though if your looking for a simple easy read and like fantasy then this will entertain you.

Best YA Fantasy. This book belongs on the shelf next to Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Twilight. The suspense, world building, and romance keep you engaged and craving for the next page. You won’t be able to put this book down.

Absolutely Amazing.. This book is amazing. I’m a huge fan of SCI-Fi and was nervous to hop into the YA side category but man, as cheesy as the sex scenes are they are very well written along with the rest of this book. I’m excited for the series to grow and become a staple in literature.

Great story!. I’m a busy mom and work full time. When I say I devoured this book - I mean that I could not wait to get back to this land of dragons and all that comes with it. It’s well written and makes sense. It’s very descriptive without being word vomit. This is my new favorite series! I’m so glad I took the leap of faith and made this purchase!

Lost in a Fantasy!. I love it when a book completely captures your attention, drawing you into the story and you become so engrossed that you lose sense of time, of space & anything & everything that is going on around you ! A book so well written that you become a part of the story, seeing what the characters are seeing, feeling what the characters are feeling,….that is what this book does. On top of the list of best book I have ever read !

Best fantasy since Hunger Games. If Hunger Games and Game of Thrones had a baby it would be this book. I could not put it down, I felt lost when it was done and I can’t wait for the sequel!

Give me more. This is the best book I’ve read all year! The story just sucks you win right away, and I hope that the author is going to continue with the series because it is awesome.

Couldn’t stop reading. I love how it’s simple yet so magical. The cliffhanger at the end is so frustrating which makes me want to read the second book. This is a good read if you want to cozy up during rainy days.
