Soooooo good!. Best book I have ever read! I cannot wait for the series to continue!

what. the. heck.. i'm absolutely flabbergasted. this book left me in PIECES. rebecca is gonna have to come and put me back together again with her divine writing and storytelling. i am a huge, HUGE fan of romantasy and this was done extremely well. for me, it meets all of the balance points between plot and spice, much like "from blood and ash by jennifer l armentrout". while this is my favorite book of 23' this far, i do hope rebecca injects a little more worldbulding into "iron flame". other than that tidbit, this book is a genuine work of art and the escapism is perfect.

Easily one of my favorite books ever now. I’m really not great at reviews but I’ll say this: I couldn’t put this book down. I was sucked into the story from the beginning. It has a lot of action, elements of mystery, suspense, love and it’s super sexy.

This book is everything!!. This book is obsessive and incredible. I’m not sure I can wait until November for the 2nd book. This book has EVERYTHING that makes books worth reading! Dragons, a strong female lead, and just enough spice! I’m in love with the characters. I laughed with them, I cried with them, and I wasn’t ready for this book to end.

So goood. Great world building and character growth. Fight scenes and battle scenes could use some work but overall, really good story. People compare it to ACOTAR but I like it so much more than ACOTAR. The FMC is an interesting character and grows to be a formidable MC.

Finally, thank you! 😣❤️. It’s been so hard to find a good book with a storyline and characters that keep me coming back for more. This is an amazing read with an strong underdog female lead and lovable characters. The concept of this world and how the writer builds makes it easy to follow and kept me invested without getting lost in the sauce (if you know what I mean). Also, the romance….GOOD LORD~~So well balanced with the storyline *chefs kiss* This book scratches all the right itches. Cant wait for the way this story and these character will develop in the next book! ❤️ Thank you to this amazing writer for writing a book worthy of staying up all night to finish

Not a fan.. Cross between Dragonriders of Pern and Divergent, and not in a good way. Two dimensional characters with a facsimile of growth but no actual growth. Typical romantasy plot with little creativity. Mediocre world building. Terrible prose. I slogged through to say I’d finished it

Fourth wing review. The best book I have ever read to date. It’s as if HTTYD and the hunger games collided. Any lover of fantasy should stop what they are doing and immediately drop everything to read this novel.

Wow. So, I’ve been holding off on reading this because usually hyped up books have disappointed me, but I decided to read the sample first to see if it’d be remotely interesting so obviously I was hooked and bought the whole thing. The world building is phenomenal! Believe the reviews about the cliffhanger ending: you WILL have the biggest hangover and desperately wanting to know more, but fret not: the sequel will be out in 4 months! One of the best fantasy/romance books ive ever read this year.

Simply amazing. This is book is well worth the hype! It is absolutely amazing and keeps you on the edge of your seat through action and romance as you invest more and more into the characters. An absolute must read!

Mind Blown. What can I say without giving away any parts of this book? “Nature will balance it out.” “This is what needs to happen.” I highly recommend this book for lovers of LJ Andrews’ Broken Kingdom Series and any of Sarah J. Maas books. This was gooooood and I cannot wait for the next book to come out. Bravo Rebecca Yarros you created a freaking masterpiece.

Best read I’ve had in awhile. Perfect blend of everything. Love, war, family imbalance, powers, dragons.. just overall a great book that was very hard to put down.

Insomnia Inducer. Bloodshot eyes. Tired body. Start reading early in the morning so you don’t fall victim to staying up all night. But it’s worth it. Until the cliffhanger. Ugh. Now we wait… But it’s worth it.

Shockingly Good. I thought this might be over hyped. GOD WAS IT WORTH THE HYPE. I can’t wait for the second book to come out. I’m now re reading this one after seeing some conspiracy theories online. Such an amazing read finished it in 3 days ! Just too good

This is a terrific first book in this fantasy series. The. I was very impressed with the Fourth Wing and couldn’t put it down. I loved the female protagonist and her journey of self-discovery. The the author did a great job of world building in sexy dark academia. Kudos to the author! I can’t wait for November and the second book in this outstanding series

RIP Reading Slump 😼. This book has gotten me out of a year reading slump. It has all the elements I love in a book: action, plot that isn’t disrupted by the romance, great characters, plot twists, etc. I usually like a fast pace romance, which this book didn’t really have but I didn’t mind due to the engrossing plot. I think we got just the right amount of time with each character and the pacing was great for my ADHD and low attention span.. I wasn’t able to put the book down. The only sucky this is that I have to 5 months for the sequel :(

Clear out your weekend, you won’t be able to stop. This was one of the most amazing book I’ve ever read, I cried and laughed the entire time and felt incredibly connected to the characters and the story. I’m literally crying rn because the second book hasn’t come out yet. I 100% recommended this book but would suggest waiting for the second one to come out so you don’t experience my pain.

Absolutely incredible. This book has it all. I laughed i cried, there were moments i wanted to throw my phone across the room. It was amazing. I came in with zero expectations and left absolutely over the moon for so many of these characters. I can’t wait for November so i can devour book two!

Lives up to the hype. Truly worth 5 stars. I was nervous going into it that the book couldn’t possibly live up to my expectations, but it surpassed them all. Can’t remember the last time that I truly could not put a book down like this. A lesser author would have drawn out the events of this book into at least two books - you’d think with it being 600+ pages that it would feel like it drags on and on, but it is ACTION PACKED. So many times I felt physical anxiety and nervousness for the main character and what she was about to face. Not to mention battle scenes that had me literally fist pumping with excitement at all the action. Truly lives up to the hype - buy the book. I just finished it and I’m already going back to reread my favorite parts.

wow.. I haven’t been this into a book since I was a child reading the Percy Jackson series. I couldn’t take myself away from the book, read the whole thing within 3 days. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know. And the twists and turns and theories!!! Omg!!!

Incredible storyline. If you love, anything magic and dragons, you need to read it asap. I was originally not reading this book due to reviews from people are obviously not true fantasy readers. The book is sometimes hard to follow in some sections however, the storyline description and plot are amazing. I spent endless nights a week reading this book until I can barely keep my eyes open. I can’t wait for November.

Best fantasy since Hunger Games. If Hunger Games and Game of Thrones had a baby it would be this book. I could not put it down, I felt lost when it was done and I can’t wait for the sequel!
