A tad disappointed. I have never given you anything less than 5 on any other book you have written. However I really wanted Kane’s POV of the blood bonding. It was a disappointment that it was not part of this book.

Disappointed. I was so looking forward of reading this book. But it started early with the first scene where I lost interest . Careful spoilers! In her book The Mating Kane is getting into the shower with Elise and they both go to the wedding bed together. In his retelling he is waiting for her to come out of the shower. Which is irritating, that it’s completely different . And the rest of his version is too unemotional and too skipped to make sense in some cases. Too bad ,I have all of the books in this series and really wanted to like it. But it didn’t happen.

I love Kane.. I enjoyed reading Kane’s thoughts in this novella as would have love to read more.

Best series. This is the best series of books, I’ve already read them twice and I’m about to start them again...... Can’t wait till the next book.

I hate Kane. I love Nicky Charles's and I loved this book so much. However, reading the original book the second time made me question Kane and his first encounter with Elsa. But reading Kane's perspective, particularly in chapters 9, 10, 11,.... Has made me realize I absolutely hate Kane. He was being very selfish when he basically bought Elise without consideration for her life. The first encounter and sex scene and her crying, he just showed a complete lack of care, or not enough of it in my eyes. He was worried about his own feelings. I know Elise is written to fall in love with him, but dammit if that were me I would run the hell away. Walking into my shower, and I don't know you like that? And the breakfast conversation would have my blood boiling. I'm at the last chapter right now, so let's read on. Still love the book, it's just getting me emotional😆😆
