Great bookFinished the day after it came out! It was great and had so much information to absorb! Need to reread.Score: 5/5

Great Book, But too positiveThis book was good, but (spoiler alert) I dislike that in every series everything works out perfectly in the end. Obviously things aren’t perfect , but the characters personal lives/problems are all resolved. I would have found it more interesting had there been more tragedy written in..Score: 4/5

DazzlingThis felt more like a remake to City of Heavenly Fire in my opinion, however it finally opens the big “What if” questions towards The Mortal Instruments series. But I will tell you that this finale is one hell of a tear jerker. It answered every questions that have been harboring my mind and raised the stakes that I thought I would never climb over. Cassandra Clare has yet again blossomed my heart towards her world of Shadowhunters. I’m sad this is probably the last of what I’ll read of Emma, Julian, and the rest of the Blackthorn families and all of their friends and allies, but I know Cassandra is going to write more books, so this might not be the end, possibly a soft “See you soon!”.Score: 5/5

Good read....Good read. Not sure I really like the threesome side story in there. This is a young adult book and just seems odd. I think it would have been better without that developing. Yet I am sure it will come into play later. The transgender was addressed just enough. But interjected is some ways that seems to almost damped the build ups, yet I suppose since it was created as a side story it needed closure and it was done nicely. I feel like trying to interweave those with the main characters almost complicated the storyline and lost some of the magical flow. But I would still totally read it again and as always great plots and twists. Love all the characters and the evolution and direction of the story leaves me excited for the next book. Just not as wow as some of the other books..Score: 4/5

An amazing readThis is an amazing end to the dark artifices trilogy and any fans of the mortal instruments will be immensely satisfied with this series. Great, but NOT 1st EditionThe Shadowhunter universe has always been incredibly exciting, and Queen of Air and Darkness stays true to that excitement. It was a great read, and I'm glad Clare gives readers some closure. However, if you were expecting this ebook to contain the bonus illustrations and A Long Conversation, Part 2, you are purchasing the wrong copy. I was disappointed to find out that the illustrations and short story were not included when they are mentioned in the descriptions. It's really misleading..Score: 4/5

Too muchI love CC’s books. I’ve read them all but this one isn’t exactly a favorite. It’s a good story, however it’s just too much. Too many characters; good and bad. Too many characters means too much story telling for each other this characters. You are thrown all over the place while trying to hear the story behind each and every person in the book. To be honest, I think it would have been a lot better if some of the people remained added characters and not main parts of the story. Or having the book divided into a separate one. I happy with 4-7 people, but 10-12 is a little too much for me. Maybe you’ll enjoy the vast cast. Again not a bad book. A good story added into the shadowhunter world. Yet sometimes a little less is a little better..Score: 4/5

Love CC, but...I have read all of the Shadowhunter Novels and loved them, but this one is definitely the worst; which says a lot considering the rest of CC’s books are strokes of pure genius. There were lots of character plots that took away from what had potential to be a good story. The story line itself is honestly hard to follow and the use of Annabel was minimal. I did like seeing how things could have been after the Mortal War though. That is primarily what gives this book the 3 stars. The Cristina, Kieran, and Mark thing had me weirded out to level 10.5, not to mention I didn’t find myself rooting for Emma and Julian like I had been at the beginning of the series. Overall if you have read the other Dark Artifacts Novels and want to finish the series you should, but don’t hold this book to as high a standard as the others because in the end it will disappoint. Shadowhunter fans know that I am not hating on CC at all because I love her and her writing a lot I just think this project was a small hiccup..Score: 3/5

DisappointingLiberal propaganda filled with thinly veiled political metaphors that fool nobody. Ridiculous character arcs that do nothing to further the plot but only serve to pander to the current political climate. What started out as fantastic literature has become trash. One of the best in the seriesI loved the world of faerie opened in this volume. But it was love in many forms that shone throughout and moved me most..Score: 5/5

OkaySo, I think my favorite part of this book is the way CC resolved all the other minor plot points and tied of the minor characters. As for Emma and Julian, I had wondered how they were going to end up together, it’s just the way it happened didn’t feel... right. But I liked how they ended it. Some things to noted: 1: Clary and Jace are getting married 2: Kieran, Mark, and Cristina are a threesome. Which is super weird. 3: Ash has some good in him, he’s just under the influence of Bad Jace 4: Ash is fascinated by the picture of Dru he finds. I wonder if that will come into play later. 5: Bad Jace is at large, and he wants Clary. #whatelseisnewwithTMI? 6: Ty and Kit are in love, and aren’t doing anything about it 7: Ty and Livvy are tied to each other. Is this good or bad? We might never know. 8: CC will most likely write another series involving the cliffhanger at the end of QAD(this book) after she finishes the lost hours. 9: I think that Tessa and Jem’s kid will be really special 10: the next present time book will not come out for a while because CC’s still writing the last hours Anyway, that’s all. Ave atque vale.Score: 4/5

Loved it!Really enjoyed this series. Emma and Julian might be my favorite characters now. And so awesome to include some of the original series shadowhunters!.Score: 5/5

Way too politicalThis was way too political and had way too many characters being focused on. I doubt this series was meant to be written in this direction but because of the political climate our country is in I guess she wanted to focus on that. It was super disappointing since like to read to escape the world we live in and relax. This book was so far the political toilet that certain scenes made me laugh at how horribly written and absolutely ridiculous they were all being. So many pointless plots randomly added in as well. It was confusing and hard to understand what this book was even about. The whole parabatai curse was so anti climatic and silly. Come on this was supposed to be a curse.. The amount of different relationships/characters in those relationships going on was super confusing and seemed to be thrown in “just cause” rather than to enhance the story. I enjoy her adding in the different types of relationships in her books but this was WAY too much. Space all those relationships out in different books.. Focus on those other characters in their own series. This book should have been more focused on just a few characters more deeply. I’m usually a fast reader and enjoy CC’s writing but this book not only took me ages to get through it also made me less eager to ever read another CC book.
