There are no intelligent characters in this book. I suppose it could be a farce, but it wasn’t roll on the floor funny. Just kind of made me want to slap someone. Myself, for reading the whole thing.

Murder on the Marinara. I thinkI must have put on extra lbs. just reading it. The plot was nicely crafted and the author an interesting mystery. I gave it a 4 because of repeat imagery and the funny lines just seemed not to hit the mark. Makes an easy summer read.

A fun read. My first book in this series but probably won’t be my last. It’s funny at times and easy to follow. A few of the characters are a little goofy but it’s still a fun read. I like the cat and all the chocolate.

Mysterious whodunnit. Well spoken author keeps reader engaged with well defined characters, humor, and a sailboat fixer upper. No gratuitous sex or perverted twists, but it’s a page turner, easily read. Enjoyable!

Awesome. This is a fabulous cozy that was funny as well as intriguing. I was surprised by the ending - I could not figure it out until the big reveal. I love the characters although I think a boat (without a body of course) is way better than a diamond! Either way, this is fun and I cannot wait for book #2.
