Wow! Simply refreshing!. This was.. all kinds of things. Cute and adorable, funny and endearing, sad yet triumphant. Yes, this book’s plot revolves around a tragic happenstance, a natural disaster. The pivotal time frame that sets a sad or scary backdrop for the story. Beautifully, however, is that background is the only hardship. Most writers feel the need to have battles against another party, an adversary, an antagonist. In this book, every single character was wonderful and caring and honest. It was such a joy to read!

Good quick read of sci-for genre.. Nicely done, not a really tough read to get someone hooked on Sci-fi genre. This is a good lead into the Seeder universe. Some of the advanced scientific explanations and devices are just a little too convenient for my tastes, but they keep the story moving. I haven’t read the remainder of the series but hope these characters continue to become fleshed out. Just a short unsatisfying swim in the shallow end for my tastes….but that’s on me.

Shallow and simple. Shallow characters. About 1 molecule deep. Simple plot. About like a cartoon show for 9 year olds.

Humans Everywhere. A very interesting read. And a good mystery. Travel through time with some very smart new friends. Also a good love story too.

Seeders novel. Gardening with flora and fauna and humans is the premise here. Interesting philosophy and works historically.

Enjoyable. Enjoyable enough

Sci-fi, post apocalyptic story with a twist.. This story reminds me in some ways of Terry Pratchett’s Long Earth series. Where there are hundreds and thousands of versions of Earth in many different dimensions. I won’t tell you how this is similar to this story as it would be “spoilers”. Read it and find out. It is intriguing and interesting and contains a mix of pathos and humour, which just makes it all the easier to read.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Don’t judge a book by its cover is a phrase well suited to this book. The cover comes across as uncompelling, disinteresting the would be reader due to the graphics blending into the background, rather than catching the eye and pulling you in. This is because the cover is dominated by the focus on the authors name in a large glaringly basic font taking up a 3rd of the space and one very bright spot right below it like an underline. I think authors need to remember book covers are like movie trailers- and even the biggest Hollywood producers draw in viewers by showing them a sample of the movie highlights, with only a mention of themselves. The story itself is a great read and an exceptional original take on post apocalyptic/space faring fantasy which is hard to find these days. Glad I took a chance on this book because I read the blurb, but still hesitant to continue the series due to waiting for the other shoe to drop- will the storyline go downhill like the cover?
