Great story. This is a great story. I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed every second. I couldn't wait to see what happened next between Char and Abram. I am looking forward to reading the next story in the series. I loved the interactions between Char and Abram. It took a while to through to each other. Taken by the Beast pt 1 by Kressley & Hamilton. Wow beast to put it mildly, this is thrilling, chilling, and hot as ever. Makes you think twice about things that go bump in the night. Well written, kept me engaged the whole time.

.??????. This is the second time I’ve tried to read this and I just can’t get past about a chapter and a half and I’m just like, ugh and I delete it again. So I don’t know, I really don’t have a review just can’t get into it.

Danger and magic. The first book in the series. This one is just the beginning as touches on what Charisse is. Thankfully she is a strong willed woman. Where others would crumble she only stands stronger. We meet several people and will the be friend of foe can change in a snap. Expect magic and danger as Charisse tries to find her way and stop a murderous beast.

Love it!!. This book Had my attention from the moment I started reading. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Many plot twists, and lots of emotion. I would definitely recommend. I will be purchasing all of the books, And enjoying my escape from reality.

Taken by the Beast. If you enjoy a thinking paranormal book you will love this one. The characters are amazing and there is non stop action throughout. The love story has a special element that only enriches the story line. Definitely recommend Taken by the Beast.

Great world. Charisse had to move back to her hometown of New Haven. She started managing the new night club in town under her new boss, Abram. A lot of things start happening in the town and her best friends younger brother, Deputy Dalton, gets called in to investigate. Char can’t decide if she wants Abram or Dalton. When she finally figures out what is really happening in the town she has a few decisions to make. After she finds out who she really is, things start to click into place. There is a lot to try to wrap your head around. Love the banter and the characters. There are a few extra hot moments in this book. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. Great start. This is a great start to this new series and an awesome twist on an old tale of Beauty & the beast! The characters got some grit going on... they are strong, funny and sexy. I found it a definite page turner and the storyline has some twist and turns. It is not all hearts and romance but an adventure and learning experience for the characters! My main issue with the storyline was Char’s inabilities to believe in herself she was usually projecting she could take care of herself but not really believing it.

Fabulous romantic fantasy. This is a brilliant book, full of magic and romance. The main character is a woman after my own heart, a modern feminist yet deep down longing for ‘someone’ to love and care for her. In my opinion well worth five stars, if you enjoy romantic fantasy this book is definitely for you. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Had potential. This retelling of beauty and the beast could have done with a little tidying up. I wasn’t too keen on our heroine, but she did improve. Our beast was a better character. The storyline was pretty good. But it could have been executed a little better.

Taken. Very fast and moving pace for this fantasy romance about a woman disappointed in life’s ambitions. She is down on her luck and staying with a friend when strange disappearances of girls looking like her show up. With her life in jeopardy and being split between a new boss and an old acquaintance the pressure gets even more real when she finds out monsters are real. Lacking. Average book, average characters, average storyline, below par level writing and editing. Deleting as we speak, definitely won’t read again. Dissapointing.

Magic and curses. Charisse Was having a bad time, she had to move in with her best friend and get a new job. She went from being a super model to a nobody. Charisse meets Abram and he hires her to be a manager of his bar. Only everything goes wrong, there is a killer who is killing ladies who look just like Charisse. You also find out that Charisse is special and Abram has a secret. Abram has been cursed and is using magic to hold the curse back. A very intense read. The killer was a surprise, I did not expect it. A great read that leaves you wanting more. I would recommend this book.
