HOOKED!!!!. I usually don’t like to read such short books and by that I mean less than 500 pages. When I got the email to check this book out, I’ll be honest I almost deleted it after the download- BUT I took the chance anyway and to say I was hooked and wanted to read more about Ruth & Eric is an understatement... Absolutely love the story line... can’t wait to read more!!! Thank you!!

Cliffhanger. Great premise for the book, I’m so eager to read the rest. I feel as though we can all relate to a Ruth with feeling slightly awkward and not good enough and i especially love how Eric is starting to change his shallow ways. I NEED MORE!!

Reasonable start. A good start to a story but needs some elements ironed out as the ugly girl bit is a bit offence. But Eric’s friend is even more offensive and clearly not a friend.

Not what I expected - I’m hooked. When reaching for this book I thought to myself “I know the plot already: the bet, the girl, end up in love, break up when she finds out, get back together”. Ok, there is some of that, but it’s fresh, funny and characters are so well written and the female character is so real, so relatable that I found myself hooked and craving more. Good job it’s a series :)

Dirty Bet. The main thing I enjoyed about this book is that the female lead isn’t stunning, not even in the she is but is unaware category. The downside is the misogynist best friend and men engaging in bets on dating women.
