Funniest book on the market today!. Shannyn Leah and Kelly Moore make a great writing team! This book is so very different from the other books that I have read by them. You will laugh your butt off reading about the highjinks that this dysfunctional family gets into. This is the first book since the Series Pilot, and Lucy Davenport, widowed mother of six is trying to figure out what her father in law is up to, since he seems to be setting her dead husband up, and her self and her children to take the fall. This is a real page turner , because you wont want to put the book down. It is an easy read once you are familiar with the players, and i so look forward to the continuation of this series and figuring out The Who did what to whom part. Thank you to Shannyn and Kelly for the much neeeded laugh.

Hilarious Book. Hot Mess (The Crazy Rich Davenports #2) by Shannyn Leah and Kelly Moore was a great quick read. This book picked up right where book one left off. The entire Davenport clan has me laughing so hard. This book shows you the mess that Lucy and the family find themselves in. I can't wait to read more of this hilarious series.

Fantastic installment. This installment of The Crazy Rich Davenports is a hilarious read too. I just can’t get enough of this totally dysfunctional family. I can’t wait for the next installment to see if Lucy will actually have to marry Cash. I’m with Yaya and I’m Team Cowboy Troy too, lol.

Hilarious. Hot Mess: Lucy Davenport is the second installment in this hilarious series that will continue to have you laughing out loud. This book should come with another warning: Do not read this book in public, you will be laughing out loud and people will think you are crazy too. Hopefully you have read the first book in this series, if not go back and read the pilot, Dare to Enter (The Crazy Rich Davenports), you will definitely enjoy this book much more. Hot Mess is told from the perspectives of each character, with this book focusing on Lucy. Lucy is trying her best to get her act together, but that is proving difficult with all the waggishness going on all around her. The authors also continue to do a great job giving us insights into all the other characters as the story develops. There is definitely something going on with Lucy's evil in-laws and her brother-in-law Cash, but that has yet to be revealed. I also can't wait to see what happens with the little issue of the love triangle between Lucy and..... Oh no you won't get that piece of info out of me, but, I will tell you there are two men fighting for Lucy's heart. The story is filled with insane antics from Yaya, Tommy, and Erik and I do love the newest pet, Kitty. Story moves on - Lucy. Davenports are wild and the crazy antics continue and Lucy has managed to sober up and try to fight for her home and her kids but how does she fair read and find out you won’t be disappointed. Also you get to meet Kitty.

The Davenport’s definitely put the FUN in dysfunctional. Another funny episode in the dys’fun’ctional family life of the Davenports! The story continues to develop, trying to understand the nefarious plot of the Grandparents Davenport and how they will overcome the family challenges to keep their house and fortune intact. So obviously hilarious hijinx ensue with forced engagements, imaginary friends, split personalities, and so many other things to deal with. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
