Jane Hawk series. Great book, great series with Jane Hawk. Dean Koontz is the master for sure! Can’t wait for next book or series!

Super Finale!. The Night Window by Dean Koontz is the fifth and final installment in his Jane Hawk series. This is a series finale, but it still reads well as a standalone, though the series is best read in sequence. Jane Hawk, a former FBI agent, gone rogue after her husband Nick’s suspicious suicide has researched and found an increase in suicide among unlikely candidates. Her discoveries have led her to seek and destroy members of a cabal bent on world domination. In an bid to thwart her efforts, Jane has been indicted for espionage, treason and murder. She is now the hunter and the hunted. This final installment pits her directly against evil and brings her some new allies. This is a fast-paced thriller that’s too good to put down. The story is engaging on every level. Koontz ended this series the way it began: with a bang! The Night Window rates 5 out of 5 stars. This entire series is a must-read! Awesome fast paced read. Wow! An amazing, twisted read. Loved this last Jane Hawk novel. The web of deceit spins out across the country, including congress, alphabet agency’s and down. The conclusion is not an easy one and leaves us with a few of the “bad” guys still in circulation. This is a fast paced story, keeping the reader on edge until the very end. An excellent read, do not miss this one.

The Whispering Room. This series is way too convoluted. Too many characters, too hard to keep them straight & too much time with the dictionary! Dean Koontz used to be one of my favorites, but he’s gotten carried away.

Best series I’ve ever read!. I was captured by chapter 2 in the 1st book in the series, and they only got better and more intriguing. The last one, “The Night Window” was a heart pounding finale. This is, by far, the best series I have ever read!

Worth all the paranoia!!!!. Absolutely perfect ending book to such an intense and thrilling series!!!! The levels of research in this series is INSANE! This series is definitely one of my favorites by far and I recommend it to anyone who’s okay with double checking their door locks for the next couple of months!!!!!! FLAWLESS!!!!!

If anything like the other will be rubbish. Author uses 1000 pages to tell a 250 page story. Worst book ever read

Overly long series. This series could have been one book - maybe two at the most. Instead of character development, we get essentially the same characters, just with different names. My gosh, I thought I was reading Heinlein at times! Look, we get it. The Techno Arcadians are bad. Depraved. Uncaring of “The rabble.” Did you really need a set of the same exact dysfunctional characters per book? And that’s just the villains. The “good guys/girls” were equally trope-y. Yes, I did buy every book and read each one as well (except where I skipped overly-long descriptions of a car. Or a watch. Or clothing. Or . . .). Why? Inertia, I guess. It’s not that I cared about the characters, I guess I just wanted to finish. I’ve read almost everything Dean Koontz has written. As an author, he’s great. But this series seems to me an attempt to just grab money by stuffing it so full of fluff to justify multiple volumes. It could have and should have been condensed. A lot. Oh - and I never want to hear the word “bespoke” again . . .

Great Finale to wonderful series - BUT. Great book, non-stop action. Nice to read a true finale that concludes the story. BUT... Koontz writes some twisted, sick characters. He truly dives deep into sociopathy and mental illness. If you are depressed or anxious I would not recommend this book. It is NOT going to make you feel better, in fact it may trigger you to feel worse. Same advice to younger readers. Great book but adults only.
