I Couldn’t Put It Down!!!I don’t think there was a time while reading this that I could breathe properly. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope and this if the perfect epitome of it. Not only do you get to see two characters go from I hate you to I can’t live without you but the comfort that Olive’s family dynamic has brought me to tears. Awesome summer read!This is an original, sexy, and hilarious romance. I feared it was going to like a predictable Hallmark movie, but I was glad to be wrong this time. Olive’s internal monologue made physically laugh out loud. If she were a real person I can guarantee that we’d be good friends. I found myself constantly saying, “Just one more chapter.” And before I knew it, it was 4:17am and I had finished the book in one night. ‘The Unhoneymooners’ is the perfect lighthearted, sexy beach read. Perfect!This has become one of my favorite books to reread! It’s raw and witty, with fully developed characters that you’ll fall in love with. Also, I appreciated that the focus is on developing the characters’ relationship with one another while also ensuring that Olive achieves personal and professional growth. The book beautifully shows how the characters come to care for and empathize with one another. There is palpable sexual tension, but that isn’t the focus and the book isn’t consumed with writing ridiculous and constant sex scenes.
