Subliminal by James Green Book Summary
James Green describes how, after having a career in the British Army, and a tremendously traumatic childhood, as well as experiencing panic attacks and anxiety; he manages to pull his life together with the help of his therapist and wife and daughter, while institutionalised at a rehabilitation institution for mental disorders in Germany. From his mystifying past, they unravel secrets with twists, which had been suppressed for many years.
He describes how an effective therapist can assist a person who has a mental illness to move towards a more positive outlook on life. How to love and forgive yourself, and others who have caused you distress and heartache in life. He also dispels some of the misguided myths that are prevalent as to what it is like to be treated for a mental disorder.
