RENEGADE is the second instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF FURY MC romance story line focusing on the members of the Knights of Fury MC. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Told from first person perspective (Isabella) RENEGADE follows the building relationship between Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson. On her way to visit her pregnant sister in Vegas, Isabella Johnson experiences car trouble and finds herself on the back of a motorcycle driven by Knights of Fury MC member Renegade Steel. A wild night of drinking results in a Vegas wedding between Isabella and Renny, a marriage that Isabella quickly wants annulled but upon their return home Renegade begins a slow seduction of the woman with whom he will fall in love, a woman who will soon discover that betrayal comes from many directions. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Renny and Isabella, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies all but destroy Isabella’s faith in the man with whom she is falling in love; and a rival MC targets not only the Knights of Fury but the Mayor himself. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied. There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Saint and Skylar, Temper, Trade, Dee, Chains and Crow; Isabella’s sister Ariel and her ex Merve; as well as their father. RENEGADE is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies; family, friendship, romance and love. The premise is engaging, entertaining and captivating; the characters are energetic and dynamic; the romance is seductive but predicated on a lie.

Renegade & Isabella (Renny & Izzy). Enjoyed the story but wish there was more spice in Renny & Izzy’s storyline. I was confused as to why Sky’s mom (Georgia, from the first book) was mentioned a few times but nothing ever came of her.

A great MC romance!. Isabel lives next door to the club house of a motorcycle gang, but has had little interaction with them. When she’s on her way to see her sister give birth, her car breaks down and one of the MC members stops to help her. Renegade ends up giving her a ride on his motorcycle to see her sister in Vegas. When they are set to go back home, they decide to have a night on the town and end up married the next morning. Even though Renny and Izzy are attracted to each other, they know that they have to get this marriage annulled ... or will they? Renny is such a gentleman and sweetheart ... it’s kinda hard to believe he’s a MC member. And I just loved how Izzy would put him in his place when he tried to get all alpha with her. Lots of twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat. This is my first book by this author ... and it won’t be my last. I can’t wait for Temper and Trade’s books!
