Family, fishing & flood. I think Rose is my new favorite! As we’ve established, the General & Miss Fiona’s granddaughters rally whenever needed! And as we’ve established, the General has a long list of military service buddies who have single grandsons! Logan & Rose meet at Hart Land - he coming in from Texas, she from Boston. Family, fishing, and floods all serve to bring about a HEA. This was a warm, upbeat story guaranteed to whet your appetite for the next flower to blossom.

Rose. I love all of the books in this series Rose so far is my favorite. With the excitement with the dam breaking it added a little action and suspense.

Fishing for Love. The Hartland Series features a retired General, his wife and their lovely granddaughters. Each one is finding love in a different way, aided by the General and his dogs, Lady and Sarge. This story tells of Rose, a busy curator for an Art museum in Boston who is assisting with a competitive fishing tournament held on the lake where the family resort property is located. One of the contestants is a tall Texan who gets hooked. Great story of romantic and family love. Enjoying this series.

Sweet romance. If you’re a fan of sweet romantic stories, you’re definitely a fan of Chris Keniston’s Hart Land and Farraday books. Rose is another winner!

Somewhat boring. This book has many sections of pointless banter between characters and lines of text that add nothing to the story line and is truly boring. Sub plot lines are dropped instead of followed through by the characters thoughts, actions or conversation so you are left feeling the story is unresolved.
