A showrunner and her assistant give the world something to talk about when they accidentally fuel a ridiculous rumor in this debut romance.
Hollywood powerhouse Jo is photographed making her assistant Emma laugh on the red carpet, and just like that, the tabloids declare them a couple. The so-called scandal couldn't come at a worse time—threatening Emma's promotion and Jo's new movie.
As the gossip spreads, it starts to affect all areas of their lives. Paparazzi are following them outside the office, coworkers are treating them differently, and a “source” is feeding information to the media. But their only comment is “no comment”.
With the launch of Jo’s film project fast approaching, the two women begin to spend even more time together, getting along famously. Emma seems to have a sixth sense for knowing what Jo needs. And Jo, known for being aloof and outwardly cold, opens up to Emma in a way neither of them expects. They begin to realize the rumor might not be so off base after all…but is acting on the spark between them worth fanning the gossip flames?

Wow. I was so upset when I had to finish this.
Well done. So I read this author’s books in reverse and I’m glad I did. This is extremely well written. The characters are well developed and I was invested in their story and the outcome. So much so I didn’t mind the solitary love scene! She makes up for that tremendously in her second book and even though I didn’t love one of the main characters there, I love the author’s writing and style because it’s substantive. Well done!

Rooting for love!. This book had me rooting for the characters to just figure it out! I loved how they developed the relationship and took care of the characters.
ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE. Finished this book in one day because I literally couldn’t put it down. I am in love with these characters and this story. 10000000/10.
Kind of disappointing. I expected a lot more from this book - the idea of the story sounded intriguing but it just didn’t deliver. It didn’t hold my interest and never really got interesting. All in all it was quite dull.
Loved the book. Amazing book tbh, loved the slow burn
