Torture. I dont exactly why i do this to myself. I pick up this book, knowing very well i may die laughing, right before going to bed. I named this review "torture", and i think i should explain why. 1. it was an emotional rollercoaster (one minute i was laughing so hard my mom snatched the book out of my hands because it was late at night and she wanted to see why the heck i was laughing so loud, then im crying..no, weeping....then i return after a minute to laughing like a maniac) 2. Having read "Hyperbole and a half" already, it was sad to see how the author's life had changed....but it was still funny as heck 3. The stories are...very relatable. Which at this point im not sure is necessarily a good thing... (but,as proven in this book, makes for a couple holarious storys) overall, I would recommend this book to alnost everyone I know... (i say almost everyone because I have already recommended the first book to most people i know like three times at least and I dont want to annoy them toooooo much) If i have children, this will be one of the first books i read them...(they'll be fine i promise lol) Thank you, noble author, for bestowing these magical tales upon us.

Extreme Marvelousness. I could not put it down. But obviously I had to sleep and feed myself and do other things.

I laughed and I cried. It was a pretty unexpected reaction to a cute little cartoon picture book.

However, IF it were a word, it would be German for “finding the delicate, absurd humor lurking within life’s infinitely deep sorrow-hole.” Allie, if in your long hours of combing the Internet you stumble across this, thank you. Thank you for writing this, and thank you for being you, you weird, insightful, vulnerable kook of a human being. I hope you’re well and wish you the best.

Amazing. Loved this experience. I kept handing it to my wife as I read to share different sections and stories.

Loved it. This book runs a gambit of emotions but I loved every page...

10/10 Chaotic Goodness!. This will be my first read on Apple Books, first review and the first book I’ve read in YEARS. I’m glad this was my first choice, it’s given me a joy to read again — which I had no clue how much I was missing. I have to say, that amazing creature on the front cover really captured my attention, I knew i’d love it the moment I saw it. The crazy art style really brought the text to life, wouldn’t be as enjoyable without it. Thank you for lifting my spirit, making me laugh, and letting me get to know you — in the weirdest yet strangely intimate way. #HighlyRecommended
