Second chance love. I received this ebook ARC from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. Hunter and Birdie had known each other since high school, they had been each other’s first everything. Their love was strong until they went off to college. In college, Hunter became the big man on campus, and Birdie was dealing with some insecurities. After an incident in the football teams locker room, Birdie was heartbroken, and she left town, and moved to San Francisco, without letting Hunter explain himself. A couple of years later, Hunter shows up in San Francisco, to set up a bank merger for his dad. He finds Birdie, with the help of his sister, and Birdie agrees to see him. They are both madly in love with each other, but their hurt feelings interfere, with their attempt to rekindle their relationship. Eventually they cannot avoid their feelings, and they begin a relationship. Past truths are revealed to each other, and they officially reach their HEA. I’ve read several books written by J. S. Cooper, and love her form of story telling with great characters, and always the greatest romance. I always recommend her books.

Disappointed. Very simplistic writing. Found myself being aggravated by how superficial this story line was. The writing style didn’t fit the characters.

Great story. I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is another great book by JS Cooper. Birdie and Hunter dated through high school and college until Hunter made the mistake of letting his football buddies say horrible things to and about Birdie. She is naturally upset and blocks him. She then moves to San Francisco. Fast forward 5 years and Hunter is traveling to San Francisco for business and wants to see her. He enlists help from his little sister and Birdie agrees to see Hunter. She is a very strong character and make Hunter work for her forgiveness, but she also never gave him a chance to explain. So glad that they worked through their issues and got to their happily ever after.

Second chance romance. Falling in love when you are young and immature is meant to last right? Well, no. But what happens when you try again years later? That’s where birdie and hunter find themselves. Will they be able to figure out and overcome what had them parting ways in the past? Follow along as they navigate the rocky ways of their past along with their desires for the future.

Everybody makes mistakes. They say boys always need a bit longer to grow up and to admit in the error of their ways. Hunter is no exception to this rule. Birdie had her heart broken and fled but when Hunter comes back into her life she has no choice to but face him and her past head on. This very heated sassy read will not disappoint. Grab a seat you won’t want to put this book down.

Stop and read this HOT book!. This is a great page turner!!! Birdie is a head strong woman who has been hurt in the past from Hunter. They have out of this world chemistry. But Hunter is a jerk and screwed things up with Birdie but he wants to make things right. Two sexy characters and one funny, steamy love story. You must read to see if they make it. =)

Loved Birdie & Hunter. Birdie and Hunter were high school and college sweethearts when a misunderstanding and miscommunication broke them apart. When Hunter comes to San Francisco to work out a merger for his family bank he tries to reach out to Birdie so they can reconnect, but she won’t talk to him. Thanks to his sister he finally gets to talk to her and try to start putting the past behind them. Little do they know that they both still have feelings for each other and they both made some mistakes that they aren’t happy about. Can they work past it and get their happily ever after? You gotta grab it to find out! I really enjoyed this book it was funny, lighthearted and romantic. This page turner was very hard for me to put down! It hooked me from page one and I loved seeing the women from the previous books again!! You won’t regret grabbing this book today I promise!!

Full Circle. It’s Birdie’s story but hers is a second chance story. Or that’s what Hunter would like. They were high school and college sweethearts until a regrettable incident in a locker room and an Instagram post caused her to never speak to him again. And to leave for the opposite coast. Hunter’s in San Francisco, and he’s determined to speak to her, and hopefully a lot more. He discovers that he’s got a pretty uphill battle, but luckily his kid sister is along for advice. Luckily Birdie has her girls to help her too.

My favorite in this series. I felt this storyline was the best one of this series as most girls can relate to it in some ways. What girl has not had a bad breakup? Birdie is the typical young lady with a broken heart. What she did, was something that I would have done if the love of my life broke my heart. It would be hard to face those that knew what he did and as a female, we typically do jump to conclusions without wanting to know the entire facts. Hunter was also suffering from a broken heart and could not understand why Birdie didn’t stay and hear him out. Even though the ending was expected, the twists and turns were fun to read and loved how these two finally made it work.

Pure hate or True love. Birdie and Hunter were worth the wait!! Birdie’s story was the one I had been dying to read, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Birdie is the last of the Cool Credit girls to find her HEA. She is always talking about an ex who she hates for what he did to her. Birdie is a vivacious southern woman who is wanting what all the other woman have, love. When her ex Hunter comes to San Francisco for business she is hesitant to see him however after seeing his sister she gives in. Hunter has made mistakes when it comes to Birdie but he truly loves her. Can he win Birdie back or is it too late for them to find love with each other again? Or will it be the miles between them that keeps them apart? This story has humor, love, spice, and of course the woman of Cool Credit! This was a couldn’t put it down, stay up late to finish kind of book!!! Loved this series and can’t wait for J.S. Coopers next book!!

Laugh Out Loud Second Chance Rom-Com. Sweet second chance romance with humor, great characters, witty banter, and first love, this story is told in the first person from our heroine and hero’s point of views. I was laughing out loud multiple times, really enjoyed the emails and banter between the couple, and loved the meddling sister and Mawmaw. The backstory of the couple is realistic...the “southern charm”, high school sweethearts turned college sweethearts, the “hometown couple” and then have an argument/miscommunication and break up. Given the immaturity and lack of dating others, I think this is a common occurrence and something readers can relate to. This is book five of “The Inappropriate Bachelors” series and can be read as a complete standalone. I highly recommend reading the other books in the series if you haven’t already as they are entertaining as well.

2nd chance. This is the fifth book in the “Inappropriate Bachelors” series. I really tried to enjoy this book like I did with the other books but couldn’t. I wasn’t drawn to the book and it was not engaging to me.

Loved. Hunter and Birdie were a very young couple in love whose relationship took a turn for the bad. Now years later they may have a second chance at love. I enjoyed this storyline it is well developed and entertaining. I received a copy and am voluntary leaving my honest review.

Loved it. I absolutely fell in love with Birdy in the previous books and couldn’t wait to read her story. This book has all the feels that made me fall in love with her all over again. Second Chance. This is a second at love story. They were high school and then college sweethearts. They were both immature and he let his pride get in the way and ruined their relationship. Neither of them has ever really moved on. Two years later he is in her new town on business and asks to see her. They get a second chance to make things right. Enjoyable read. Great banter, great read!!!. Well, this is the 5th book in the inappropriate boyfriend series and you can definitely say that Hunter qualifies as inappropriate all the way around. So, him and Birdie have a past, an eight year one to be exact, where they were once in love. Of course, this is until Hunter was the most inappropriate boyfriend possible, but I guess that is why he is Birdies ex now. However it appears he is back, he is now coming to San Francisco on business, he wants to see her and it looks like he might ideas of so much more. From the first conversation between these two the banter and dynamic is sizzling. You see the natural chemistry just flows between them. The only thing I struggled with and I admit if you have read the other books in the series you would know this is really just part of birdies personality, but she is wishy washy and indecisive. It was so much it drove me crazy. She constantly went back and forth to the point that sometimes it felt like it was too much. Ultimately the book turned out to be another great book for JS Cooper. You will have to read to find out if Birdie ever decides to take Hunter back. She will surely keep you on your toes to the very end. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Burned love. What happens when the man you once loved and broke your heart comes back? Birdie never fully moved on from the incident that had her running away. Now that hunter is in front of her it is making her question her feelings and what led to their ending!! Will birdie and hunter fox things or will this be the end of them?

YOUNG “FIRST LOVE” REAL OR JUST A FIGMENT OF THE IMAGINATION?. This is the 5th book in this series which like the rest are written as a standalone. Although you can read all of them in any order I highly recommend you read them in order so you can obtain some background on all the characters. With that said this book was fantastic. JS Cooper really touched on the trials and tribulations of what young “first love” partners go through in a relationship. Sometimes they last, some times they fall apart forever and sometimes if the love is strong enough, with time, the relationship will persevere..... Hunter and Birdies story is one that will take you back to your “first” and have you questioning was your own real or was it all just your imagination... I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.. This is the second attempt to post this review..

Love this series!. I love this series and this is another must read by Ms. Cooper. I love the story of Hunter and Birdie, two people that dated for a long while until a misunderstanding pulled them apart and Birdie fled to the other side of the U.S. Asking for help from his sister Hunter was finally able to talk to Birdie again. This is an entertaining story and must read.

To My Immature Ex Boyfriend 💋. I've read several books written by JS Cooper; she has done a great job at writing this fabulous story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Good book. This was a funny quirky type of a read. The storyline was fun it had a lot of love and heat as well as pretty witty banter. Story flow nicely and I thought it was well written I had a good storyline I made you keep reading which made the book a quick read. I really enjoyed the sass between them back-and-forth. It was overall a good read that I would recommend are usually enjoy this authors books she’s got a good writing style.

Second Chance Romance. Birdie is watching those closest to her find respectful and caring men whom they have fallen in love with. She only wishes that she could find the same. Living in San Francisco far from home and the heartbreak she left there has had her reminiscing about the past after her immature ex reaches out. Hunter has been working in the family business for some time now and is going to be traveling to San Francisco for business and reaches out to Birdie, his former girlfriend, to see if she would like to get together. He is still hung up on her but has hurt her deeply and wants to make it right. Birdie does not know this and still thinks of Hunter as an immature man not worthy of her time and affection. With some prodding of friends and family, will Birdie give Hunter another chance? Will Hunter show his emotional side and let Birdie know how deeply she affects him? A second chance romance filled with feisty characters, friends, and a loving family. To My Immature Ex Boyfriend was a quick read and fun romance.

Hunter has to apologize for a past mistake, but he has a secret about the night of the incident that broke both of their hearts. This story is well written. I didn’t want to put it down. You really must read Hunter abs Birdie’s story.

Little Birdie’s hunter. Birdie and Hunter are the cutest southern couple that can’t seem to get their communication in check. They never stopped feeling for each other even though they feel so betrayed by one another. This is such a cute little romance about waiting for the whole story and not giving up on your feelings!!

Awesome book!. I loved this book! It shows that even after mistakes are made there is love! I think there is a little Birdie in all of us! Hunter was the love of her life! Youth and misunderstanding lead to separation! That little part of Birdie in us was a trip back to young love! You will love this book!

Very immature. The book was ok, the love hate story dragged on the entire book leaving you confused and not understanding what was going on. Finally in the chapters 24-26 it wraps up.

Absolutely Amazing Book. This is book five in The Inappropriate Bachelor's Series and it is Birdie and Hunter's story and omg I absolutely loved this book. Birdie's ex boyfriend Hunter is flying to San Francisco for a business meeting and he wants Birdie to show him around but that is definitely not happening as he is an ex for a reason. Hunter works for his dad at the family bank and he is going to San Francisco to put forward a business plan and he also wanted to see Birdie after all they had a relationship for years before they broke up and Birdie moved away but he has missed her so much and was still in love with her and wanted to win her back so that they could have a second chance. Birdie and Hunter had a eight year relationship through school and college and were so in love and then it was all thrown away because Hunter wanted to be the big man on campus but have they grown up enough to put it all behind them and get a chance of a happy ending or is it the end for them because too much time has passed. I absolutely loved the banter, phone calls and e-mail's that went back and forth between them as it made me laugh so much and keeps you on your toes while reading there story. Birdie and her friend are so great together and I love that they are always there for each other regardless. I couldn't wait to read Birdie's story and I couldn't put this book down as I had to see what would happen next and it was so addictive. J S Cooper is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed. Love/Hate Second Chance Romance. Birdie’s and Hunters story is everything you need in a second chance romance. True love never dies and will always fund a way to prevail as is told in this story. Birdie learns that the past with her ex Hunter may not have been the entire story. Great HEA read!

Wow. Wow This was an amazing love story of hunter & birdie who were childhood sweethearts at first I didn’t really like & understand why Hunter didn’t apologise for what had happened in college and the reason for their break up and his seeming lack of ability to take responsibility for his actions I enjoyed watching them reconnect with each other and finally admitting the feelings they still felt for each other towards the end of the book we finally got the full story of the break up and the consequences of the actions by both parties I enjoyed that they both each admitted that they did things wrong and owned up to those actions and apologised. Overall this is a great love story I can’t wait for the next one by J S Cooper she has an amazing ability to bring characters & stories too life. I received an ARC for my honest review.

Childhood sweethearts with a second chance romance. This was an exceptionally fun read, a sweet and endearing love story about second chances and true friends. The characters were well developed with the plot moving along nicely, there were even a couple of twists I didn’t expect. Birdie and Hunter had been together for eight years until misunderstandings on both sides drive them states apart, however true feelings are hard to bury, so when Hunter tries to reach out to Birdie by sending endless emails, phone calls and even his sister as a negotiator, could it be at all possible the relationship could be rekindled??? There were so many laugh out loud moments one minute and scream and knock there silly heads together another, not to forget the support Birdie had from her besties that made this book a nice clean rom- com with all the swoon. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.

Entertaining. This is book five in The Inappropriate Bachelors Series but it can be read as a complete stand-alone. It’s Hunter and Birdie’s second chance at love, it’s a slow burn about growing up, first loves and learning from past mistakes. Birdie and Hunter had a long relationship before they broke up in their last year of college, she has moved on and is leading a wonderful life with a great bunch of girlfriends in San Francisco but Hunter works for her father so when he flys into town for business her mother asks her to show him around town. Hunter has never gotten over his love for Birdie and he has regretted the day he put his teammates before his girlfriend but will Birdie forgive and forget and will she even entertain spending time with him or is the hurt from the past to much to forget. This is an entertaining, fun read, the banter is witty and the emails this couple share are hilarious, I was captivated from the first chapter to the last line so I guess all that’s left to say is please one click this gem of a read.

Lack of communication, immature and emotional,very hurtful. She thinks he is immature,he thinks the same. But after few years when they accidentally meet together the feelings are back. Fun and enjoyable!. This story is profound and beautiful. Hunter’s presence in San Fransisco will have Birdie come to terms with unanswered questions and have her discovering that she wasn’t the only one hurt by her leaving South Carolina. Hunter and Birdie’s love for one another is undeniable. Maybe he wasn’t the only one that was immature? An incredible storyline with captivating characters. A wonderful read shared by the talented J.S Cooper.

Fun Entertainment. This book was fun, emotional and entertaining. Birdie had been hurt by Hunter, but I was curious to see how Birdie had hurt him since it sounded like he was in the wrong. And he really was immature as per the text messages/emails that he wrote to her (and even some of the comments he makes) - though I have to admit that I couldn't stop laughing at them. This story takes you on an emotional journey as Birdie and Hunter hash out their differences, and I loved that Hunter's sister was instrumental in bringing them back together as she annoys Hunter to no end which makes it funny.
