P.S. Lose This Number by J. S. Cooper Book Summary

To The Guy at The Coffee Shop,

I did not intend to give you my phone number. I was actually waiting on several dates to show up; don't ask, it's a long story. I certainly didn't need to slip my number into your pastry bag just so I could attempt to catch you. I don't even know who you are and I don't care. I found you to be extremely impertinent at the coffee shop. Who interrupts someone else's date to tell their own anecdotes and stories? Especially when that someone else is a stranger. Just because we had a five minute verbal sparring match, it doesn't mean we actually know each other. No, I have no interest in getting dating advice from you. And I certainly have no interest in learning the art of flirtatious touch. Are you out of your mind. All I can say is please stop sending me daily dating tips. Maybe work on not being a cocky ass before you try to help others.

Now Leave Me Alone,

Lilian

Hilarious. This is the third book in the series. The banter between Lilly and Ben will keep you smiling. Ben is trying to give Lilly dating advice because she has horrible taste in men. Lilly is trying to get the rude, arrogant cocky coffee shop guy to leave alone. This book kept me laughing at their antics. Great job. Canā€™t wait to see what is in store for book four.

Lilian and Ben. P. S. Please Loose This Number is the third book in a series that is never what it seems. Lilian is wanting love, but the guys she is finding out there make her cringe. Ben is in town on a job, when he notices a beautiful woman while she is on a date. Not helping "help", Ben offers comment and few suggestions, that Lilian is taken back by. This story is fun, sassy with twists that will make you step back, because you won't see what is coming. Lilian is strong and determine but doesn't always read the room. Ben is confident with an air of arrogant that he can back up with his actions. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Entertaining.. Book three in the Cupid in the City Series, P.S. Lose This Number was a fun and entertaining romance story. What should have been a potential date with not one but two man comes out to a disaster first meeting when Ben decides to help Lilian out. I love all the laugh out moments that only prove that online dating is definitely not for everyone. Beside the entertainment thereā€™s drama and a mystery when the reason Ben is hanging around is revealed. Overall an enjoyable romance read that didnā€™t disappoint.

Love and espionage. I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. I loved this book, about a sexy British detective, and a sexy, determined to find a husband, office worker. Their meeting was funny with great banter between the couple. The attraction is there from the very beginning, but the couple has difficulty accepting their true feelings. Ben is a Brit detective trying to solve an embezzlement case for the CEO of a major company. He is sitting in a coffee shop, watching Lilian with various blind dates. He sees her in aptitude with the different guys, and attempts to advice her, to correct her situation. Meantime he steals her phone number, and attempts to advice her over the phone. Lilian is a young office worker at the company that Ben is investigating. She is going on horrendous blind dates, attempting to find the love of her life. While at the coffee shop, she meets Ben, but she gets angry, with all the interruptions that Ben makes, while she is on blind dates. Ben begins to text and call her, just trying to get to know her, and hopefully get a date with her. The banter during these calls are outrageously funny. Eventually Lilian accepts to meet up with Ben, and they begin a relationship. Ben continues to pursue Lilian, until she realizes that she likes him. Meanwhile the investigation case gets complicated, when Lilian is considered a prime suspect. Ben apologizes to Lilian for suspecting her, after all the evidence is revealed. Lilian accepts Benā€™s apology, and they re established their relationship to obtain their HEA. Iā€™ve read several books written by J. S. Cooper, including all the previous books in this series. She has a way of entertaining the reader with her talented writing. The characters are always well developed, and the story is always full of hope, and love. I will always recommend books written by Ms Cooper.

Fun Romance. Iā€™m so enjoying this P.S. series. This is Lilian story, she joined a dating app and meets two of her dates at the local coffee shop. They turned out to be disasters. But while in the coffee shop Ben Barnaby a gorgeous Englishman tries to give her dating advice. As this fun and witty romantic storyline progresses Lilian finds out Ben is working an investigative job for her boss. Meanwhile their attraction is sizzling hot for each other and their love scenes are steamy! I enjoyed this book, this is a favorite series for me and I definitely recommend this book! I was given an Advanced Readers Copy by the author through BookFunnel for an honest review.

:-). I really enjoy reading this next part of the series. This group of friends are finding love one after another. Lilianā€™s love story was just as great as the prior one. I canā€™t wait to read the next one.

Humorous. A humorous read that had me laughing out loud multiple times. I liked the story though her character was a but much to handle at times. Overall the story was entertaining.

Brilliant read. This author never lets me down, when I see a book by her, I KNOW Iā€™m in for a brilliant read from start to finish. The plot easily held my attention and was one where I needed to know what was happening next. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a really great fun read that I highly recommend.

Not a fan. I am a fan of many other books by this author but this book just fell flat for me. I had a hard time following Lilian and her friends and all their conversations. It felt long and drawn and barely any type of ending on the investigation when they uncovered the real culprit. Wasnā€™t a fan of this book.

Now Leave Me Alone, Lilian P.S. Please Lose This Number. I went into "P.S. Lose This Number" blind and gave it a chance without reading the previous two books in the Cupid in the City series. I don't think that "P.S. Lose This Number" is for me. I wished that I enjoyed it more than I did, but I felt that it was just okay. If it's something that you can relate to, you'll possibly enjoy it more than I did. It felt like a chore to finish. I wanted to stop but plowed through it and finished. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect with any of the characters. I wouldn't say I liked Lillian. Maybe if I found any connection, I would've enjoyed it more. With all that said, I have nothing against J.S. Cooper and won't mind reading something else from her. Just because this was a miss for me doesn't mean another one would be. The other books I've read from her, I enjoyed.

Chance Meeting. Lilian sets up two dates on the same day at a coffee shop that turn out to be terrible dates. But an annoying British guy there too, he keeps injecting himself into he dates and ends up with her number, by mistake. Ben calls Lillian and annoys her, but says he will help her pick good dates. They end up texting or talking just about everyday. These two are meant to be together. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

Ben and Lillian. This is a funny story about dating from dating apps and meeting up in a coffee shop. Lillian being tired of being alone downloads an app to find herself a date that she hopes to lead to romance and not just a booty call. Then there is Ben a obnoxious man Lillian meets in a coffee shop. Ben is also investigating a theft in the company that Lillian works for. Lillian also runs into another man in the elevator of her company. His name is Dade who is the brother of Benā€™s ex. I have given enough away. If you want to read a funny but serious love story this book is for you.

Lose my #. Ps. Lose this number is funny, intriguing with some twists with some added spice!! Lillian is hilarious with an amazing wit to her. Ben is on a case when his path crosses Lillianā€™s and sparks fly!! Little do they both know that their about to be involved in some craziness.

Oh my god!. This story is fun, sassy with twists that will make you step back, because you won't see what is coming. Lilian is strong and determine but doesn't always read the room. Ben is confident with an air of arrogant that he can back up with his actions. I recommend this book. The way they started out. They way they connected and fought. They were just going to be together. She didn't want anything to do with him. They had a connection that was amazing.

Corky story. This is a corky story about a nosey guy with two-cents to spare on how a girl needs look at the guys sheā€™s dating. Heā€™s funny, obnoxious, nosey and totally annoying but that doesnā€™t stop Lillian from gravitating right back to Ben.

Lilian and Ben. Lilian agrees to two dates on the same day, at a coffee shop. They both are horrible and to make matters even worse thereā€™s an annoying British guy there that keeps interfering. When Lilian sees a good looking at the back of the shop, she decides to learn her name and number for him. Imagine her surprise when itā€™s Ben, the Brit, that calls instead. He stole the napkin from the guyā€™s table, lol. Lilian tells him not to call or text her anymore. As time goes on, she wonders what if, he could be more. This book had me flipping the pages well past my bedtime, so I could see what happened. I loved, that besides the romance, we get to read why Ben is actually in New York. Heā€™s working on a case for Finn Winchester, Lilianā€™s boss. Will he solve the case? I loved catching up with Susie, Marcia, and Shantal. I canā€™t wait to read Shantalā€™s story to see who sheā€™ll get to be with. I received an advance reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

PS Lose this Number. Enjoyable storyline with likeable characters that come to life and keep you intrigued and turning the pages rapidly and rooting for their HEA. The sparring between them is entertaining. They have a connection with some chemistry with an intense, undeniable attraction to each other. If you enjoy reading Insta-Love, witty a bit of sparring you will love this book!! A must read. Grab your copy today and start reading. Enjoy happy reading šŸ“š

You Never Know When You Will Meet ā€œThe Oneā€. Cute story of how Lillian goes from not dating to meeting jerks on a dating app to finding her HEA where she least expects it. Fun and witty banter between the H and h along with the shenanigans of Lillianā€™s friends kept me entertained. This is a standalone book with in the interconnected series ā€œCupid in the Cityā€ that relates the stories of four friends as they each find ā€œ The Oneā€.

Enjoyed the read but wanted moreā€¦. I enjoyed this 3rd book in the series but felt like it didn't flow like the first two. The extra conversations with Lillian and her friends lost me and I found myself skipping over them to get back to the story. Ben could've been written much stronger. I like Ben and Lillian's banter but would've liked to see more development in their relationship. It went from 0-100 too quickly it almost didn't make sense. Overall I enjoyed the read but was left slightly disappointed.

Enjoyed. Everyone has their reason for reading. Mine is entertainment and fun characters. I agree with the grammar not being up to par but the author manages to deliver characters that have not only great chemistry but an undeniable connection. This couple was meant to be. Looking forward to reading more in this series. I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Hilarious. Oh my gosh. This book was so funny!! I found myself laughing a lot on this one and wishing I could come up with snark like she does šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ I received an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest opinion

šŸ”ŽOne sexy-tatted Brit!šŸ‘€šŸ”. Ben and Lilian will take you on a journey that will leave you breathless, frustrated, and excited; but will also leave you happy and swooning. Their sassy, sarcastic banter with each other was witty and hilarious. The chemistry was undeniable and their passion was off-the-charts! This was a great story and a sweet Happily Ever After.ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.šŸ’‹

Love that Started over Coffee. I have to say how refreshing this series has been. I have enjoyed each book more than the last. You can make a realistic connection with the characters. The banter with Lillian and the different men she is messaging with on the dating app is a great laugh and so real at the same time. Then her entire encounter with Ben from the first moment in the coffee shop; I just have to say how funny it is that people who are desperately looking for love but then when an honest connection happens they put up all sorts of crazy defensive mechanisms pushing the person away. I really enjoyed that while there was a fun love connection going on, you also had this hunt going on for a mole in company Lillian works for; someone who is helping to embezzle millions of dollars. As both pieces of the story unfold and all the connections come together you are just drawn in by the writers antics for both Ben and Lillian. I personally found myself wanting to get to the end so I could find out exactly how it ended as I certainly did not see some of the chain of events happen as they did. However I guess that is how life is, completely and utterly unexpected. I would not have wanted the book any other way! This was a fantastic read that I truly enjoyed. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Miscommunication. Overall this was a quick read. Part of a series that continues from couple to couple. This book is about Lillian and Ben. Ben is originally hired to investigate fraud which brings in Finn and Marsha from the previous. Overall this was a great book. A little rushed at the end to tie everything up in regards to the fraud and who it was. I would definitely keep reading the. series

Fantastic. What a cute twist! This story grabs you from its start and doesnā€™t let go until the end. I completely enjoyed it and have anxiously been awaiting Lillianā€™s story since meeting her in the first book of the series ā€œP.S.NEVER IN A MILLION YEARSā€, and can tell you it didnā€™t disappoint. It gave me the same familiar friendships, wit, and banter, all while this romance is building between Lillian and Ben. Which let me just say gets pretty darn HOT! This entire series delivers on strong women, taking chances on love, as well as, life and who have amazing girlfriends that are always there for one another. Received this book for an honest review

Clueless. I absolutely love Ben! Lillian was totally clues in who and what she was looking for! HOT men! HOT and steamy sex! And HEA! Every girls dream combination! I am excited to read Shantalā€™s story .

Great read. Lillian really wants a boyfriend so she joins an online dating app. She has two dates scheduled for the same day. Those dates go horribly wrong and an innocent bystander canā€™t help but throw himself into the mix. Ben is a tattooed sexy Brit that wants to help Lillian with dating advice. Heā€™s in town to solve an embezzlement case. This book keeps you turning pages as you follow the budding relationship and watch the case and the relationship run head on into each other.

Awesome story. This story is surprisingly refreshing and I really enjoyed it a lot.

Loved it. Love the author. Iā€™ve read many of her books and I absolutely loved this one as well.

Let the games begin.. Book three of the Cupid in the City series this time we have Lillian and Ben who meet in a coffee shop while Lillian is on a blind date. Just like book one and two Ben didnā€™t make a very good first impression on the girl and when Lillian left the coffee shop she hoped she never had to see him again. This book is a typical RomCom and doesnā€™t pretend to be anything else. The entire series has been pure fun with minimal drama. One of the things I like best about it is the female leads, who are four best friends, are all normal women. The talk and act like your own friends would, being silly, always supportive to each other and just very real. My only complaint, and Iā€™ve had the same one on every book in the series, is the poor editing. There are too many errors that should be getting fixed before publication. Jaimie needs to seriously find a better editor. Her books would be all the better if she did. Shantal is next. Sheā€™s the last woman standing and Iā€™m surprised. I thought when I read the first book Susie would be last but I was wrong. Donā€™t worry if you havenā€™t read the other two books, this is easily read as a stand alone. Once you read it you might find yourself wanting to go back and read the others. Susie and Brodyā€™s book is still my favorite but they are all great fun. Oh, yeah, and Ben is from London so if you like hot British men like I do, P.S. Lose this Number would be a good choice to pass a few enjoyable hours with. I received an advance review copy of this book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Fun and Flirty. Great read from J.S. Cooper. The banter and fighting between the two characters os entertaining and leads to some explosive chemistry. Canā€™t wait to read the rest of the series!

Her Fairy Godfather. Lilian, 30, had joined a dating app to meet guys but most had turned out to be jerks. She set up dates to meet 2 guys at a coffee shop, one in the morning and one later in the day. When the first meet-up ends badly she meets Ben who overheard her conversation. After her second meet-up also ends badly Ben is obnoxious to her and tries to talk to her but she leaves after she leaves a note with her phone number on another table where a hot guy was sitting. Ben takes that note and texts and calls her to offer her advice on how to get a man. Ben, 40, is a PI from England in NYC to do a job for Lilianā€™s boss. When Lilian realizes that Ben is the cocky coffee shop guy and wants to be her ā€œfairy godfatherā€ she texts him and tells him to lose her number and not call. Ben is intrigued by Lilian and she finds him sexy and outrageous. They canā€™t seem to stop thinking about each other but can they find happiness together? I enjoyed this story where enemies become much more and give it 4.5 stars. The author did a great job letting us know how Ben and Lilian were feeling and why they acted the way they did. Ben especially was witty and self assured while Lilian wanted to find happiness like her friends. There was also mystery while Ben was trying to get information on the missing company money. I look forward to reading about the last friend in Lilianā€™s group of four friends as she tries to find love. I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This book will make your heart sizzle. Ben and Lilian are a match made in heaven.. Ben meets Lilian when she is on a blind date, a horrible, terrible blind date. He tries to give her ā€œdatingā€œ advice but she brushes his him off because he is so arrogant. They keep meeting and Ben just wants to get to know her because he is so mesmerized by her. He thinks he knows everything about her, but he knows absolutely nothing and thatā€™s what interests him so much. Besides her beauty, she is funny, down to earth and unlike any woman he has ever met. Needless to say, Ben is a gorgeous hunk of a British man that knows what heā€™s doing. At times youā€™ll feel like you have to put the book down and shake your legs and clap your hands because it is so romantic. What an awesome, awesome book.

Fun read. A fun and lighthearted story. It will hook you from beginning to end. It has great characters, banter and sizzling chemistry. Itā€™s entertaining and a great read! A great series to read.

Such a Fun Read!!!. I love a book that has so many twists and turns that you struggle with the thoughts of putting the book down. This book did that and more! I absolutely loved every second of reading this and I actually look forward to rereading it soon! J.S. Cooper manages to have me demanding more from a full length book and Iā€™m not even mad about it lol. Love her work and I know I will always jump at the chance to read anything she puts out!

OUTSTANDING!. This book was outstanding and such a great read!! I could totally relate to so much of it! I think most of us could too! Laughed out loud so many times!! MUST READ!!

Just what I neededā€¦. The chemistry šŸ§Ŗ the laughs! Hit everything I needed at the moment! JS is one of those authors that knows how to capture the audience and does it! Can not wait for more!

Good book. I thought this was a quirky read. It had some chuckle moments. It had a good storyline that i enjoyed reading. It was one that you could fly through because it was funny. I loved the pull they had with the anger. It was a good read!

P.S Lose This Number. I received for an honest review I love this read so well written and the characters were so fantastic omg this is just a fantastic read its a must read.

Not My Favorite In This Series. This is the third book in the P.S. ā€¦book series that I believe is called the ā€œCupid in the Cityā€ series. I enjoyed the first two books so much more. I felt like some of the dialogue in P.S. Lose My Number was lacking, and there were some mistakes missed in the proofreading that were a little annoying (my apologies to the author, but that just disrupts my reading flow and takes my mind off the story). The premise of the story and the ā€œmeet cuteā€ were entertaining. All in all a fast, fun and sometimes steamy read. I just wish I had received the ARC invitation before I had ordered the book.

Amazing!. This book will have you laughing, smiling, and holding your breath. The two characters are Ben and Lillian. Ben has the sexy accent =) from Britain. Lillian tries two find the love of her life guy so she goes on bad dates. Ben is in the same coffee shop that Lillian has her dates at. Ben gets Lillian number and bam! Itā€™s so funny and exciting at the same time. Have you ever had a guy friend that is sexy but annoying at the same time. But then life smacks you in the face and the love has always been there. Great book. JS Cooper is such an amazing writer. Everyone of her books are the best!!!!

Good book. Easy to read I enjoyed this book and the banter going back and forth It is comical and has a Happy ending šŸ’™

Lilian & Ben. Although i gave this 5 stars, it was more 4.5. There was some parts that felt unfinished and could have been elaborated some. Other than that, it was a pretty good quick read. This story contained all the good parts that are needed to keep a reader engaged. It had a good back and forth between Lilian and ben, it had its funny moments, and it had a happily ever after. You wonā€™t be disappointed in book 3!

Great story. I received this book through Bookfunnel and this is my honest review. This is another great story by JS Cooper. This follows Lilian and Ben from him being an obnoxious guy in a coffee shop to giving her dating advice to even more. Love their story and can't wait for the next in this series.

Great Read. Another great read Who doesnā€™t love a tattooed Brit. As usual a great read from J S Cooper with lots of laughs Ben & Lilianā€™s verbal sparing and her inability to read the room had me laughing throughout

Ps lose this number. Wow, I loved this, was looking forward to this book, I have really enjoyed the others in this series. This does not disappoint, such a good page turner I didnā€™t want to put it down! Well written, another good storyline. Looking forward to the next book, I love that we are getting to know the girls as we progress through the books.

Bantering In Their Foreplay. Lillian was charmed by Benā€™s British accent when they met and he was captivated by her fiery personality, which led them to indulge in one night of unbridled and unforgettable pleasure. They may have bickered quite a lot during most of their interactions, but the sparks between them was combustible and made it difficult for them to be able to stay away from each other. This was a truly charming romance, that was entertaining to read. The story not only held my attention from the first page until the end, but it was also a real pleasure to read. This book deserves to be added to your must read list immediately and recommended to your friends and families. I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

All I can say is read this book!!. All I can say is read this book. Buy it, borrow it from a friend, get a copy from the library - whatever you have to do! If you're having a bad day, this will cheer you up. If you're having a good day, this will be the cherry on top. Happy reading everyone

PS Lose this numberā€¦. I really enjoyed this book, a little bit of humour in there too. Worth a read!!

Absolutely Amazing Read. This is book three in The Cupid in The City Series and it is Lilian and Ben's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Lilian decided to go on a dating site to hopefully find a nice man but her first date was a real bust as the man was not only horrendous but arrogant as well and she was hoping that the next one would be better only to be disappointed yet again. Ben is a private detective and while he was waiting in a coffee shop for some information he witnessed a date going wrong so he decided to give the beautiful woman some dating advice to help her along only for her to come back at him with a really sassy reply and now he is intrigued by her and wants to find out more information on the woman. The more time that Lilian and Ben spend together the more things start to change but then something happened that neither was expecting but how will it all end. Omg I absolutely loved this book and I laughed so much with there forwards and backwards banter and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see what would happen next and it was so addictive that I read it in one sitting until the early hours of the morning and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. J S Copper is an amazing author and writer and I absolutely love reading her book's and I definitely recommend you read this book and other's by her and you will not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.

Great read.. As always I really enjoy Ms coppers books and her writing ability. This book had me laughing, swooning and to be honest glad that Iā€™m of the generation that didnā€™t need dating apps. My, but itā€™s tough.Loved the banter, all the circumstances and the characters. Some serious chemistry. Recommend.

Amazing. I loved this book itā€™s full of witty moments and banter poor Lilian isnā€™t having much looks with guys she goes on dates with then she meets Ben in a coffee shop & the rest is history itā€™s a truly great book. J S is one of my go to authors if I need a pick me up she never fails to make me laugh. I received and ARC for my honest opinion.

Fun read.. This is the third book in this series and they donā€™t have to be read in order. This is the story of Lillian and Benā€™s relationship and how not everything goes to plan. I found I was laughing out loud a lot though this book and it left me filling good after I finished reading it. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

P.S. Lose This Number. This book is an absolutely amazing read. I loved this storyline, Jaimie is an incredible writer and I canā€™t wait for the next book.

Cute and fun. A witty, fun read with plenty of playful banter, humour, some steamy moments and a little mystery. Lillian and Ben have plenty of chemistry and just canā€™t help being drawn together; even when sheā€™s looking for Mr Right, which Ben most certainly isnā€™t,, right?; and heā€™s got a job to do before heading back to England.

Ben and Lilian!. There is nothing that Lilian would like more than to find a man to spend her life with however she seems to specialize in picking frogs rather than princes. When she finds herself with two dates of a dating app on the same night the last thing she needs is for a third man to give her a commentary on the events. All she wants to do is leave this infuriating man in her past until he gets her number, and the fun really begins. Ben needs to focus on his assignment so he can't afford to be distracted from his goal. He is drawn to Lilian in spite of himself, but the complications really begin when their lives begin to intersect both personally and professionally. The banter between them is humorous and not only do the characters of Ben and Lilian draw you in but there is a great cast of secondary characters as well.

Absolutely captivating. Absolutely Must read this new book in this wonderful series. The opposite attract between characters in this new story promise to have everything to keep your captivated. Lilianā€™s story is filled with so much back and forth response, lots of quiproquo, misunderstandings and tension you will get you hooked by it. Her relationships with men are rocky to say the least but she has chemistry with some. I highly recommended it. Thanks to the author for providing me my review copy.

Wonderfully amusing!!. A wonderfully witty, funny and sexy book! Ben and Lilian are engaging, alluring and interesting characters with a tantalizing and passionate storyline. An enjoyable read to an entertaining story. I look forward to reading book 4 in the Cupid in the City series. Beautiful written JaimiešŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»

Good time all around. Funny, witty, entertaining great character interaction. One for the books! You know the song, Looking for love in all the wrong places...well that's the case for Lilian. When everybody around her are finding their ever after, he signs up on a dating app and meets these characters at a coffee shop. Ben is in town to find somebody and he intrudes in her dates and trying to show her what is wrong with her dates. When she leaves a napkin with her phone number to a guy in the coffee shop, he leaps to grab it and their journey begins. Great romantic comedy in the Cupid in the City series. Jaimie you did it again!!! I volunteered to review this story.
